I am just just wondering when anyone can recommend what the most effective (or only) technique of having dropdown listings that affect the other page almost right away. That’s probably not a very good description actually… To give an example, usually used at order forms and so on., when you’re asked to decide on a country a single drop-down list, the page can refresh quickly but keep all of the correct info after which the drop-down list below could have different contents depending on the previous one particular. Howdy everyone, I’m new to web page design so this question might seem silly, but I need a little bit of help here. Just what content management system, a simple definition I recognize that WordPress, Joomla for example. are considered so , because, let’s take WP as one example, it is easy for that author of as well as to make changes and add entries, etc. So here’s my concern: what if you design a web site in dreamweaver for any client, who let’s say wishes to occassionally have the ability to add ‘news’ bits onto the house page along together with an image or maybe two I think one solution is to use WP and also to give the web-site a non-blog feel/design. DHTML menu vs Flash object

Hello there, This really is my first submit, unfortunately I get abit stuck at designing my hottest website… I can try and explain best Allow me to (see supporting image). Concerning created a DHTML palate, with drop decrease sub-links, however directly under the DHTML menu Concerning a flash item, my problem is when i test my internet page the menu is working and often see from the image I will be hovering over " Vanquish Performance" button though the drop down list is hiding guiding the flash item, I have looked everything within Dreamweaver 4 in an attempt to bring the DHTML menu for the front so your drop down can be visable but I have to admit I are actually defeated I can not bring it for you to it overlaps your flash objext… would you help Thanks Ste If you edit the CSS for any menu, add this for the menu CSS: z-index: 9999999; This really is overkill. Website Video Compatibility Help

Upon our website we have a video about the main page. The video in place there now is due to SWF format. Thanks to it being a new flash based video, it doesn’t display on an iPad. I’m in the deal of changing that will but have ran right little snag. We have the video reconvert to aid playback on the iPad (H. 264) while I add the actual code, the training video displays, but getting older autoplay. The play button needs to be pressed for it to your workplace. We need that to autoplay without controls if possible. Also, with the brand-new code added, you will discover a couple additional issues at the same time: On Firefox – If the parameter " wmode=transparent" is actually added, the video doesn’t manifest. It just show a black box. The video plays without issues on IE along with Chrome with " wmode=transparent".
