SEO a flash website
it is possible to best way to make this happen.. use javascript for you to display it adobe flash =! seo Fundamentally. The usual alternative they certainly is provide some sort of non-flash version of this site (which is truly a good idea, the flash is absolutely necessary). Of training course, no flash whatsoever might be much better. There are wide ranging problems. For case, each page of an HTML site may be optimized around an alternative keyword. Search applications, even if these people index a flash file, see it mutually big page — with one list of keywords. Try a hybrid site, split off the particular text into HTML CODE and add the particular Flash via a new javascript technique. Those who have javascript not power on or no flash player see a pleasant looking site. People that have the extras see the extras. Certainly, progressive enhancement is a best path inside any situation. Your site should be in (X)HTML+CSS. Javascript and Flash needs to be optional. (Says whomever whose current job revolves around creating a Javascript-based webapp ) Google Unobtrusive Flash Objects – a progressive technique for accomplishing this finish. But it really does still mean plenty of … Continue reading

sIFR – FINALLY All Fonts Available on the Web!
Check this out: http: //www. mikeindustries. com/blog/sifr/ All these guys are nothing at all short of great. They created the Flash + Javascript component that takes virtually any HTML document and replaces < h*> elements that has a Flash object with the same size comprising rich, beautiful text. What what this means is to us, as designers, is that individuals can design websites that use virtually any FONTS WE NEED, without having to produce images for all of them. Better yet, these pages will be 100% accessible, with sIFR fonts displayed to virtually all web users, plus the remainder simply seeing the default CSS-specified net fonts. HOW COOL IS THIS!! I’m gonna make the first sIFR page tomorrow!: -D All right, I just tested out it out…. really freakin sweet!!! Usually there are some little annoyances distinct to Flash (e. h. can’t copy that sIFR’ed chunks regarding text with the rest of the body), but that’s acceptable. I’ve seen this just before, a couple of prohibited… There was something about it that has been not good (but MY SPOUSE AND I can’t remember). I’ll should re-visit it again. I had never been aware of anything like that, but obviously they … Continue reading

What I want to find out is……… what do I want to find out I see many you guys putting together around terms constantly like CSS, XHTML and many others. What do you charge for placing content from old site to a new site built with a site builder?
With thanks Everyone " Relies upon. " I just don’t possess a better reply than that for yourself, and here’s the key reason why: 1) " Depends" on whether the pages in the previous site were coded good enough to copy/paste your code over to the present site without matter (probably not about to happen). 2) " Depends" on how you know Adobe Illustrator and how good you happen to be at writing batch files to perform the watermarks (best method to handle that). 3) " Depends" on the site builder itself. Some are easier than others to promote (although they almost all suck). 4) " Depends" within the nature of the friendship you might have with your buyers (make sure you get a contract in order that business is business and friendship is friendship rather than the twain can meet, by that way). 5) " Depends" on the marketplace in your small town and also what you think you may get per hour not having screwing someone over along the way. So I don’t really have a straight universal answer to suit your needs, nor are you likely to find one. That’s the nature on the beast. As long … Continue reading
