Background colors & Table "shadows"

Hi there All, I was wondering in the event you could help myself – I’m in the way of designing this portfolio website, and to add some ‘feel’ to your website I want to provide " shadows" to my main table (like one this site has)… and/or a coloring gradient going from a light blue to your dark blue (like, starting light blue at the top of the particular page, then dark the way it nears the bottom) What sucks is I realize this is probibly gonna have a seriously simple answer : but dammit, I can’t do it! The one you have please You have several ways to perform it, but if you are site is fixed width (i. electronic. 700px), then the easiest way is to produce image 1x700px (height back button width), put it seeing that background and align it the same as your main dining room table is. Dont really get that procedure, xarst, but without doubt: You may just make a strong cell each way so itd appear to be: Code: _____________________________ —————————————– (the two within the left being each one shadow) WE don’t really receive what you imply by that first idea – can … Continue reading

Help w/table layout

I am designing a website using Dreamweaver in addition to I’m using tables for that layout. I build a vertical navigation bar around the left hand side from the page and towards right of that is definitely another cell (obviously) we am inserting graphics and text towards. However, whenever I add a number of images or loads of text, it causes the contents on the navigation cell to transfer downward and I can’t get them to the top of your page where that they originally were, regardless of the I do. Sorry if this is hard to fully grasp but I dont recognize how else to clarify this. Basically all I’d like to see is a top to bottom navigation bar on the left whose material don’t get messed up once i change the belongings of other tissues within that dining room table! Thanks for a person’s help. Attempt adding valign=" top" on the navigation td HTML: < td valign=" top" > Are you able to post a screenshot Of course the perfect solution could be not to apply tables for system, as these forms of problems are usually not solvable by way of logic because table markup just isn’t … Continue reading

where are the settings for table locations on a Web page?

Hello in existence. I’ve got a website with a heading (defined within a file that also contains every one of the CSS items). Each page shows this heading then some separate tables at the same time. But the tables in this pages were designed from a single template web page (cut and insert then edit), some pages (in IE) present the header and also all tables more toward the center of the page while other people display them plenty further left and also right. Where are the settings for the positioning of the header as well as tables How would I be in there and produce the header plus all tables in all pages look in the exact same location P. UTES. I had an established design the first section of the site and I’m in the way of cutting in addition to pasting and incorporating content. Thanks a lot!! You could try conditional CSS to get IE to respond. Put this inside header: <! –if IE> < fashion type=" text/css" > signific " ie. css"; < /style> <! endif–> Additionally reading: http: //www. quirksmode. org/css/condcom. html Thanks, USC Hello and thanks a lot for the answer back. Alignment problem with CSS in IE

Hi there Everyone, I’m taking care of a page that could have invisible backlinks hidden over a great image. I used CSS to help position the links within the image. It shows correctly in Firefox as well as Chrome, but in IE there’s an area between a lot of the background images end of it. Does anyone realize how to close the gap Thanks beforehand. (I will, not surprisingly, add a border=" none" tag if the page is all set — to disguise the links. ) I evaluations have a whole of 13 links, if that matters. With thanks, Joe <!
