Newbie Questions
Apologies to bore you all on this, but I located you with Google and it seems like the place I want. Here we choose: I taught by myself Dreamweaver MX to undertake a personal website. I’ve been some sort of tech pubs consultant for a long time. That’s now useless. So I am soon that can put out my shingle to be a Web Designer. I would like to aim at the home business current market. I am sooo burnt out on Corporate and business America. So I do not think that market will be wanting very compicated, whizzy sites. I am at this time in an html course by way of a community college. The actual professor is moving the W3C five rules of XHTML. I see that I will need to upgrade to Dreamweaver MX 2004 for this. Anyway, forgive the ignorance, but here’s my question. Inside the 80’s I utilized IBM GML Script to produce computer manuals. It was just like html. Then when they invented Framemaker, use of in their proper mind would employ Script. Thus, why do I need to learn coding if Dreamweaver we know And how precise does my expertise in the coding … Continue reading
How would this be done?
MY PARTNER AND I wasn’t sure exactly where to post this particular, but here will go: I will be wondering, how does one get the on the net quote thing for instance seen on world wide web. x2hosting. co. great britain and www. driliquid. com I think this would be a good accessory, but how is he or she made Is this with PHP/MySQL It’s simple PHP with the looks of them, just comparing your budget for the preset prices into their database. There are many scripts pre made that are capable of do things like that. Check out these kind of directorys… http: //www. fatscripts. com/ http: //hotscripts. com/ It becomes best for you to learn php. You’ll have an easier time buying a technical job for those who have it on a person’s resume. As an example: I know php along with mysql. I identified them up right after learning java and c. I sent applications for a job that uses asp and oracle. I got the position because I simply had previous expertise with other languages which have been powerful. This is the reason learning php in making a quote generator like this is a good idea. … Continue reading

Screwing Around…
Screwing All around… what would you think of this kind of (the jpg is kinda mesy with the coversion) Looks cool. Not much to talk about about it, because there’s little to it. It is really simple and clear. Not bad. I favor it! Though I would like to see some images in your main content part, I like the minimalist style and it’s also good. Well accomplished. what could I enhance make it a lot more interesting I’m sure adding an optimised photo that varies each page underneath this G2 logo (just a new 50px wide or even so image) may clean up the site to some degree Interesting name for the thread, " Screwing Around"… I assume meaning something different in the usa than it does throughout the UK Sean Lol. Screwing around could also mean just messing : not what you’re thinking. I’m in great britain but I heard that it means that. Slight dodgy phrase however. We could possibly initiate another thread called " Confidential! 30% of Britons will want to spend their cash on fags as compared to investment… "… that’d mix up the Americans; -) Sean Please note: " fags" may be a widely-used … Continue reading

Qualifications
Firstly I know this question may be asked many times and nobody features ever seemed to generate any sort of answer that i feel has been any sort of help so I’m planning to ask again. Im leaving college in July and currently contemplating my options for further education in great britain. Im looking to be a PHP developer and want to find out what sort regarding qualifications employers are seeking. Ive looked around the Connexions website ( The particular Carrers adivsors) with this page http: //www. connexions-direct. com/jo… catalogueContentID=110& render=detailedArticle and they mention HNDs/HNCs but to not ever any specifics will anyone have just about any ideas which these can be. I find that in such a industry with the multitude of experience and the best portfolio often trumps accreditation like NVQ’s. If you need to get go straight down the education route then a university course on computer science, graphic design etc goes long. Such courses allow you to build your portfolio, get work practical experience and ultimately provide you with a degree which in turn some large agencies prefer.

What are you seeing when you see this site??
REDESIGN: Client needed to help update his espresso! And all this while I kept thinking it had been my work!!! (He has since changed the look to remove that boxes from all pages women and men home page and the blog. ) Unique post: I’ve viewed this website from several various computers, browsers, ip handles, emptied all caches and I’m still certainly not replicating what my client is viewing. He’s in Town and I’m in america. For this page: he sees one simple " box" impression under the pen header, CV for GREAT BRITAIN (should be a complete of 6 photograph swaps). He will not see Professionals, Graduates, Scholars, etc. (I much favor sprites but this is built on WordPress and after per day of pulling out there my hair looking for sprites to work–& found out they wouldn’t with WP, I simply just did an impression swap. ) REDESIGN: Client asked for your 6 boxes to get removed today through all pages though the home page so this is now a moot place. From anywhere within the same site, whenever he clicks at " Guarantee" inside top nav, he’s taken to a white page having an image, not the … Continue reading
