Struggling for ideas on design

We would just like to learn what some of you choose to do to get creative and think of ideas for web site designs I struggle on this a lot, I’m more of the left brain programmer variety, but would really like to get into design. I like to see photography, and see how I can take a picture and change it into a banner for any site, and then let the form take off after that. A lot of people prefer to visit Template Enormous to view several different designs and gain inspiration from there. I’ve realised not to ever under-estimate Mind Roadmaps… one thought ends up in another. " Finaly there’s nothing new, almost everything we create is done before only in a very different way. " – Don’t always expect to set-up a revolutionaty layout concept etc. ie, All layouts are composed of grids consisting of columns and rows, it just depends the way you structure, define plus shape them. Go look into it your 5 most liked websites (in stipulations of design) exactly what makes them very good and why, then impliment some of the people ideas in your personal work. To the Comunity

thanks for your feedback on my site. it ended up being helpful and informative. i am i am sorry i dont condone the usage of javascript as clientside scripting as far as i was taught is often a nono for layout. cookies as properly. or anything that will disrupt the end user exp based upon their personal controls. load speed, navagation, plus the 15 second guideline is what i got taught. i came here to supply and to learn. my offers were opposed continuously by those that frown on programmers and my solely question thread has been ignored and consolidated to your small corner beyond sight even though they were different topics, yes exactly the same script but pretty dif questions. i enjoyed serving with html as well as css questions though the users stalking our post dont recognize enough code to post without seeking foolish so probably that had something to do with it not sucking. in any case, mission acomplished. the linux guy is gone. tc, a lot love.: lick: I realize where you are originating from, When I figured out HTML at college we hardly got any editors to promote. Grid for Beginners – Any tips for good books

Hello everybody, My organization is new to style and bought several great books at usability (don’t help make me think), typo (Robin Williams books) including a book on grids of which had a SOME star rating on Amazon (can’t try to remember the title). What My organization is still struggling having is general layout and proportions. Especially the grid guide showed me good examples on how you can use grids to generate basic layouts but it failed to say easy methods to actually implement these folks (the nitty gritty stuff). One example is a simple internet banner. I have learned about dividing the screaming horizontally and vertically in 3 parts. I’ve played around keeping this but can’t really say that it helped me set up something balanced. Another example may be the 960 grid. I use Joomla including a template called Breeze that uses the actual 960 grid. I want to make standards for that content but I am struggling to find information on the way to calculate the horizontal values with the grid (the verticals will be given) and tips on how to apply these beliefs then.
