Nicest Page Layout

What are the cleanest, easiest to help read layout (Font colour, Bg color, and anything that concerns that) All Love it if more want is what you would imagine the best looking layout would be. Thanks alot! 10pt Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif #000000 Natural on #FFFFFF bg Font Experience: 10pt Verdana, Tahoma, Arial Font Color: #000000 Font Properties: Normal Text : normal, headers — bold, links – underlined System BG: #FFFFFF WE agree. When you define your font size help it become relative so that it can be resized according towards visitors preference. WE use font-size: x-small to get my main wording and font-size: larger for my headings. 12 point is formally easiest to study… 10pt and persons over 50 should squint. But not surprisingly all of my page layouts are the ideal… duh! Not true… 12 pt. arial is technically harder to read since the font becomes bubbly as well as less discernable. ELEVEN pt. serif (times, or anything else. ) is the simplest to read on the net, but serif fonts usually are impossible to learn at 72 dpi. At 800 x 600 on the 17" monitor, 10pt arial is comparable to the size of text in a magazine. … Continue reading

help designing tutorial pages

hi there, I hope that this can be a right forum to be able to post in, and that this is possibly appropriate, but I’m kind of serious here. anyone no one can provide any assistance or volunteering with the following, I’d truly appreciate. I’m writing a programming tutorial education, about C++ lisenced users. Now this is planned in the form of fairly long tutorial. but here is definitely my problem: the tutorial could have entire pages that will itself, its unlike a submitted guide or anything. simply just all html web pages. however, I’m shutter, and so to receive the right colouring, images, fonts, or anything else, is impossible unless I’ve someone else assist me. So, what I might really like is someone who, after I finish a chapter, I can just send in the page as a attachment, and you’ll edit that article, add the necessary circumstances to make it glimpse nice, and just send it to me. I’d have it in a standard html form, but you would must add what people think would be needed to make it appear ok. I would certainly add headings, sentences, linebreaks, etc, but with styles or perhaps css etc, I … Continue reading

Alignment issues

Fine, my navigation cell is incorporated to the left side connected with my site pattern. Currently, the headings " Residence, Merchandise, etc" are an integral part of the background design, and hence static. I’d like these to end up being flexible however, as with not only will they be clickable hyperlinks, but I want them being mobile up and down the side to ensure I can edit how much text contained under each header. You can notice however that each header " bar", mild gray, is slightly embedded from the darker gray content material panel, giving the slight border impact. I have no idea the right way to preserve this only were to take out the header bars in the background, instead making them independent images (and that’s why non-static) within cells of a table over your dark gray subject material panel. Any tips… http: //www. call4fire. com You need to slice up your design as opposed to making the whole site a qualifications image. You should piece up each nav press button and insert it into your HTML as an image. Then you may make each image any hyperlink. Ah, of course. Not difficult. I don’t have much experience … Continue reading

Just what font size do you guys prefer The impression I have at this time: Arial+Verdana 11px is good for footnotes, comments in addition to such Arial+Verdana 12px is good for navigation options Verdana 12px good for medium paragraphs TNR 16px good for pages connected with text ‘m I wrong Tahoma 10px, Verdana 11px, in addition to Arial 12px with regard to regular text. With regard to footnotes, Tahoma 6, Verdana 10, Arial TWELVE. With regard to medium paragraphs, Tahoma TWELVE, Verdana 11. TNR: about as helpful to me as boobs into a bull. Summed everthing up well there TheGAME. I presume each one of that is within px, looks that it. Yeah, ’tis. 0. 7/0. 8em Verdana Times is often a nice font to make use of for headings with large sizes. I would rather keep my web site font consistent all the way through. verdana 8pt.

Site Redesign

Two questions with the fine people with WDF that halt long enough to help care – A SINGLE. Do you think I should stick with the old design (http: //fmd. port5. com) or develop the modern one, ignore the particular header though (http: //fmd. port5. com/Redesigns) (working for the domain soon – promise: -D) 3. Firefox users you will have spotted this already – how one can get the boxes to fall into line with the header (there’s something wrong while using CSS I think) http: //fmd. port5. com/Redesigns/ ) I dont just like the gray background upon #1, but usually it looks far better IMO. The second design is a superb concept, but I hate the nav, or along with scheme. The banner has lots of bright colors, and the other site is shades of blue. I think a balance must be struck. Also, I hate the font styles utilized in the nav, and the " fresh… " headings can be a little too huge IMO. Simply my 2 pence worth. Thanks with the feedback Spluf, you’ve reinforced a few things that have been niggling me regarding the second design. I think I will change the over the top … Continue reading
