Ever so slightly large problem here…. (CSS)

Right, I decided for at the first try I was likely to do a web page in CSS, its a website for one regarding my father’s friends (its the replacement for that website I posted in that other thread within " hows the site, " whenever anyone remembers that) In any case, the css seems to your workplace OKISH in Firefox, but it dosnt work in the slightest properly in IE. And theres also a few problems in Firefox however, the width setting within the links in the top end right dosnt are most often working, it shoud be the whole 200px across… IE seems to be resizing the major image section affordable (how the hell) plus makes the links as being a list, tiling vertically. Furthermore, does anyone realize how to center div’s without needing center tags WOOPSIE, did not remember the address: http: //hofflenosh. f2g. net/totalcleantest/home. htm (hosting for a subdirectory in the Hofflenosh Website throughout testing… ) To center the website use margin: 0px car; whatever div has been to be centered. Content boxes.

Hi there everyone, looking at redesigning entry page on this site and POST quite like the thought of having the left side of the page ‘sectioned off’ having those nice metallic borders/squares that most sites are using right now ( ex http: //www. good-tutorials. com/track/7870). They look good and having looked around there are many photoshop tutorials to work with you in creating these but surely performing it this way limts you from the content that is displayed on top of that square/image section Supposing We have a square that may be say 100 pixels across by 300 down along with the content displayed on this can be a list of website links dynamically drawn originating from a database… it may store say 8 wrinkles of text but when you add another 5 links this textual content will continue over bottom of this square and ruin complete look. I suspect that this square is certainly a window that will another html or even asp page that may be displayed however page and so expands once the content grows larger. May anyone guide me within the right direction to create a page much like this one: http: //www. valeriebeller. com/new/paint. htm Thanks beforehand. It seems like Javascript is used to populate the key image section. Does one say this is comming at a template Is flash being used possibly It looks like there may be a Flash movie while in the background somewhere, but it’s not necessarily embedded on the page. The Javascript is actually calling a function NextFrameFlashMovie(‘n’), where n may be the frame in the movie. It looks as if it might just as simply be calling static jpgs. In fact, the only. swf’s for the page look to be for a time/date funtion. I’m uncertain, though, because I have never seen this treatment and I are likely to avoid using Pen wherever possible.
