In my own Google webmaster tools, it tells me Concerning a duplicate 7steps tag between my home page and my default web site: As well, when I do a site search, I get both normal home page along with the default page exhibited: However, when I check my file director, there is only 1 version of my internet site on the machine: default. htm Is this problem caused by means of my xml sitemap which in turn states defines the main url plus the default. htm traffic: A few pointer remove the 2nd emboldened line through the sitemap – or do you find it better to leave it there I am afraid I’m a novice at sitemaps : I only normally design small sites therefore rarely use these folks. The only reason that we created a site map in this site was since it hit some difficulties. Two other questions relating to this same duplicate subject tag issue: Someone from a different forum suggested I have to do a 301 redirect from http: //www. completebathroomssuffolk. corp. uk/default. htm to http: //www. completebathroomssuffolk. corp. uk/ Is this great to do I’ve never needed to with any site before now (but have … Continue reading

Is the customer always right?
Together with my experience I’d initially say yes and attempt to push the shopper towards your design/layout. However Concerning recently been told that we am wrong as well as the customer is in no way right. Being a developer if the customer wants an internet site . that is definately not visualy appealing you shouldn’t accept their view becouse it could actually discredit you layout skills So will be customer always appropriate, should you design for their wants or should you design a web page that looks greater then what they surggest Assuming you aren’t hired by a web design/developing firm, as well as an overloaded designer/developer, then the consumer probably doesn’t understand anything about building a website. They do not know what works plus what doesn’t. For that reason they’ll imagine bizarre fantasy sites that contain flashing banners, horizontally scrolling content boxes, and pop-ups all over the place. They don’t know that this is bad form for your website. The designer should try their to hint along at the client that their idea of a design isn’t superior, and the template you have in mind would be superior. However, they’re paying you for " dream" web site, so if … Continue reading

Any help and advice would be considerably appreciated! This one sounds like the best site for Live journal. She can write content articles, allow people to comment, add a new photo gallery, and do the many social networking elements. My advice is to check out using WordPress, obtaining a free template (google it) and also customize the web template for her moose theme. Thanks for any advice! help needed please
howdy, if you consider a site i became designing www. primeonline. ie you’ll notice the correct column is completely wrong and coming off of its template… does anyone know how to fix this please, id really thanks It looks fine if you ask me until I get started resizing the browser, I’m guessing you’re over a smaller resolution and the extremely wide internet site just won’t fit. Something in this middle column (or the column itself) have to have a set and also min width that they are reduced. Michelle’s correct. It’s your banner to the bottom of the particular page. Either move this below the about three columns or also, remove it completely (it probably isn’t doing you significantly good since it is only there regarding banner trading uses. ) your navigation has the benefit of a set position. Set it to something like this Code: left: auto; or minimize it’s current price The favicon can be a dead giveaway that it is just a joomla website, you’ll want to check your module positions this just might help you locate the error in the CSS files.

Is there any method of creating a site in dreamweaver, and then linking it into the domain name Any help can be great and sorry if it is a silly question. Thanks You can use Dreamweaver so that you can upload the internet site onto your domain name. You need to own FTP information to perform it (which means therefore , you need it hosted someplace if it isn’t). Feel free to use the FTP details to upload that files onto the hosting the location where the domain name is usually pointed. I’m sorry when I’m not explaining this in a very clear way. There are quite a lot of resources on the net regarding this issue, I suggest searching on the internet for ‘FTPing by using Dreamweaver’. if you are a new to web page design i wouldn’t suggest Dreamweaver because it will give you bad coding routines. Instead use Notepad++: http: //notepad-plus-plus. org/ Do you really good manager, actually. Another you are Visual Web Builder Express. Not a whole lot for PHP … Continue reading

Hello there, I’m working for a site for a new musician friend. he wants to market his music via paypal as a digital obtain and it ought to be Paypal compliant. It has to be as a download as he will not be monitoring sales etc so cannot be relied upon to help " send stuff" women who have decided to buy it; -) Preferably it truly is free or charges are taken like a % of income, no monthly subscriptions because his music sales can be 0! Rice I downloaded this Paypal extensions for my very own website to used in DW but this was for simple products and services, not downloads. If you choose it using a button, then it’s important to rely on the user an extra chance to the site following a user has paid. That doesn’t always happen. You likewise have to rely within the download link possibly not … Continue reading
