Got a logo but lost with design…

Need help on how to design website

Hello guys, Iam a newbie due to this forum and net designing. I have problem on steps to start building website mainly using HTML, PHP plus MySQL(database driven. We’ve experience on hardware and os’s. My director asked me to style the website intended for our research instituton, but I don’t know how to start. Table help

Hello, I posted before but no person answered, so I’ll try to become a little more clear. Basically, I use a table and you can find two columns. I made this left column 100px wide along with the right column 600px huge. On the best row, I made that to be 100px wide. While in the top left cell there’s a logo design, on the best right, the big rectangle, is the banner. In the cells about the left, below your logo I created a menu (pics inside each cell). About the bottom right solar cells, I merged all together to help make one big mobile below the banner ad. Here is the problem: I need kid type normally as well as put graphics in such a big cell. Then again, when I check out type, it does not wrap, it merely keeps expanding your width longer as well as longer, making your whole table wider. Additionally, if I make enter, the first cell having a menu button will get bigger (in terms of height). What looks good? What looks bad? What needs to be added?

I’m just in search of people’s opinions on this site layout i’m trying construct… Please give me a notion of what you think works, what fails and what may finish it. Many thanks I much like the logo, especially that circles. The photo in the panther (not an enormous cat expert myself) seems to be stretched and never relates to the mountain for the top. I think the cat theme works greater than the mountainous gardening, considering the logo design. I’d align that navigation. It looks better and it’s less of a challenge to program. Utilize a dark grey for any font, because the black seems a little harsh, and probably utilize a different font deal with. I’d go Verdana or maybe Georgia, but POST always use those two. Either approach, they’re both better than Times Innovative Roman. See about integrating the green in the logo instead in the blue.

how does this page look, so far?

Howdy, I am planning to wrap up re-designing a mock-up with the music page to get an artist. We have attached the original mock-up plus the revised layout. My causes of the revised format: I want to help bring the images and text magnified together because I noticed once i created a version with the mock-up, text and art logos and images were scattered around the whole page as well as your eye will too many places right away. So I combined the artist’s photo and name and also centered it in the page. Then it comes with an advertisement of the artist’s newest project. I decided to feature a larger photo with the album cover as well as place it into the left, then center that also. I don’t use a problem with the position with the title and logo design. Thanks. Any concepts for improvement would likely also be allowed. Here they are. another you, with a slight change towards the bottom part of the page. Red on black is quite difficult to examine. Also, I do not see the purpose of the blurs every where. Why have content in the event you cannot understand that.

Career Opportunities in Web Design

Hi, I became just curious to find out if any of you are professional web developers, and if you will be, how do you like your profession in regards to pay, hours, and also overall work/stress ranges. Currently, i’m a architecture student, but i’m in the act of switching degrees on the Digital Arts and considering careers in web development. I enjoy structure, but i have no motivation to make progress with it, mainly due to the amount and period spent for earning a certain amount (5 years for your bachelor (i’m Three years in currently), 2 a lot of grad school, a long, 3 year MINIMUM (4-5 year average) internship, after which a $1000+ subscription exam for professsional licensure – and all things considered that, the pay ranges from your $35K (intern/bachelor) – $65K(masters+licensure+LOTS of experience). Doesn’t make lots of sense to say from a field that requires just as much schooling as a doctor/lawyer using the payout of any teacher.
