church client
Joyful Holidays My new client with the fall is a new church, and they need me to re-design their particular website. The design and style looks flat as well as basic, with underlined wording for url links as opposed to actual image buttons. This may be a problem design wise, (because my current mastery of CSS and HTML has authorized me to kick the habit of fretting on code-side issues) because I’ve never made for a church in advance of. My clients are usually internet savvy.. they know soo . . . with the present day styles, however they just don’t learn how to design. Since it’s a big church, they need the website to have a religious/corporate look inside the design. (Imagine when Adobe. com had a cross for your logo) Would any individual recommend church homepages that are fitted with the professional, present day, corporate-style in the theory I may hunt CSS Zen Back garden for concept internet sites that also glance " religious". WHEN I created one these www. tabporth. org Be very crystal clear as to which kind of church/denomination it is before you design the website. It’s not hard to immediately think of the design … Continue reading

LAYOUT DESIGN and colors are my weakest links
Can someone recommend me some good sites who have examples of different web page design layouts and using color schemes We’ve been to glass display cases of actual web pages, but those sites never find a way to inspire me to try and do my own point. I can’t put the pieces to your puzzle. There is a book called Array Index but I’m not likely interested in buying any books right this moment unfortunately. Bless you! Hopefully this can make my work extra streamlined. I also think that my limited variety of fonts makes my sites appearance very plain, but it’s not as important while good page design. " Good" is pretty subjective but I’ll begin the ball running and mention some our sites. http: //www. chateaudeplehaut. co. uk/ uses a technique that I’ve learned to use – use different transparancies with the same colour (an early website Used to do used two numerous shades of sharp blue (on the home screen) – next time i viewed it at another screen one particular shade looked sea green additional looked violet along with the result was terrible; since then I’ve been wary of employing different colours. ) Note how the … Continue reading
Way of making first page viewed use 1 style sheet and other pages a different sheet?
Hi all Can there be a way connected with coding: 1st page viewed on a session (regardless that page it is) = CSS page 1 most of other pages viewed = CSS published 2 I have a site the place that the landing pages are generally 1 of 7-8 webpages, but people COULD POSSIBLY land onto additional back pages. What I would prefer to do is usually to make the very first page they land on have a very big impressive masthead by using large rotating graphics of previous work however to make subsequent pages use a very small masthead so people any longer ! keep scrolling along. Depends around the programming language used, and no matter the way you do it, it shouldn’t get perfect (mostly because people have option not just to save cookies/session variables about their machines). Here’s how you’d take action in ASP: Code: when Session (" visited" ) < > " 1" in that case Session (" visited" ) = " 1" Reply. Write " < url href=" " first-stylesheet. css" " rel=" " stylesheet" " type=" " text/css" " /> " altogether different Response. Write " < url href=" " subsequent-stylesheet. css" " rel=" … Continue reading
