Erm…A ltiile help here?
A certain amount of a continuation in the navigation thread I started…… Well basically can easily anyone tell my home how I change where the bar appears And the way to stop it happening forever It really is here: http: //www. crabhand. company. uk/help. htm I basically want to buy to either be in the table or ensure it is centered and similar width of the table….. Many thanks!!!: nervous: Hmm, I don’t believe I quite comply with… But first thing that really is not clean code. Because you said you don’t know anything about coding Consider the good dismiss that however. So far as I can tell, the nav bar is precisely the same width as the actual table now (600 one thing px), and it appears to be centered too. One thing you might do is consider this block of code: body border: px; foam: 9em; text-align: left place: absolute To begin with, the margin is not defined. So either rise out completely, set it to 0px, or set it into a other number for a liking. Second, I believe you can take out the ‘text-align: still left; ‘ since all your content will be in the table. … Continue reading →

Gradient rollover intermediate
Heya folks. I’m seeking to create a nav bar influenced by gradients. Now, the gradient goes one of many ways usually, and the other on hover. But I’m not sure how to handle it to indicate the particular current’ section. Any ideas If you’d like imagery, I can attempt to put some in place. Maybe select a darker version belonging to the regular gradient As well as, change the font colour How about just a plain color… no gradient I’ve noticed this done before (don’t ask me where… I don’t remember) along with I remember thinking so it was a nice contrasting tool for doing it. karinne — I’ve tried that, but I don’t like it much. Maybe I’m not using the right color, though — I used one of the two extremes. I’ll see what goes on if I use maybe one of the colors from in the gradient. I’ll try that darker version on the gradient, -chris-, that was not a bad thought. Changing the font colour isn’t enough, however, in my impression. How about like this, or this, using a color not while in the gradient, but somewhere else in the web site Ok, can this look: … Continue reading →

Creating a fancy menu in dreamweaver 8?
I come to this forum beyond great frustration!: astonished: We have Dreamweaver 8 along with started building a website on a demo of CS3. Well my trial is over and I’m to DW8, but now I can’t figure out how to create a multi-layer drop-down horizontal navigation bar without the application of the " Spry" instrument. A good example of what I’d like to see to create could be the menu bar on " subway. com". I lack that much web site design experience and can’t find a reply via google, so any help here would be appreciated -AsV Used to do a quick lookup: http: //www. cssplay. company. uk/menus/ http: //www. dynamicdrive. com/dynamicindex1/droptabmenu. htm Most are css only choices, so you might customize them for your needs. I used a spry menu from CS3 also it works in all I tested, even ie 5. 5. It uses a little bit of javascript with this. I’ve been setting up css only navbars these days but only sole level ones.

spry Menu Bar – not displaying correctly in IE
We’ve an issue which has a a spry drop-down menus bar. It should resemble this: http: //i303. photobucket. com/albums/nn134/mr-skill/Picture23. png In Firefox & Safari it appears to be fine but in IE appears this: http: //i303. photobucket. com/albums/nn134/mr-skill/Picture24. png If it arrived on the scene like that within Firefox I’d think it was because the div that contain the spry club was too small but that isn’t the case – can be seen the yellow outline with the div in the primary pic, and it’s bigger as opposed to spry element. Every ideas Usually ie6 or SEVERAL or both It’s usually margin and/or foam with ie6 and perhaps sometimes 7. DW does a okay job making those spry menus work in everything, until you mess with all the css. Have you experimented with making the div a bit wider Start having 20px wider first. If that maintenance tasks it, then it is a width problem. Hopefully you can also make it wider without messing up your layout. Otherwise, you may have to have a ie mend. When the site is dwell, can you place a link so I could tinker around for it That gave me the clue POST needed, … Continue reading →
