linking on same page
Can easily someone tell me why my link seriously isn’t working If you click on the first item in the particular menu " What is QuittersClug. org" the page should move down for the content text with the same question. It works traditional in IE however , not in Mozilla the two on and away. Only the 1st menu item is defined to scroll immediately.. thank you I are not aware where this computer code resides.. Even so, you define ones anchor links (or hotspots) such as so HTML: < the name=" linkName" > < /a> And then to jump compared to that area on the page you’d do.. HTML: <! — this is certainly assuming you are around the same page –> < the href=" #linkName" > hyperlink text< /a> Hope that helps. I apologize.. I forgot the actual link… the site is simply a quick job for the friend so the code isn’t standard… but I thought similar page linking should of at least worked because We have done it just before… suggestions the site… http: //www. wargame. ms11. net/qclub. html code Now i have seen your code, I are able to see you are pointing to some … Continue reading

home page doesn’t work in Firefox – what’s going on?
This morning I changed the date on my site, and ftp’d it into the server. When WHEN I opened the updated page in Firefox, all I acquired was gibberish — Chinese or Western characters, and a number of others. The WEB ADDRESS is www. protonfabrication. com, and here’s this strange part – it displays the right way when I’m directed there by the link on yet another page, like the particular portfolio page (www. protonfabrication. com/portfolio-page-1. htm). The particular link takes us to www. protonfabrication. com/index. htm certainly not www. protonfabrication. com whilst they’re the similar page. When WHEN I type www. protonfabrication. com into your search window, WHEN I get gibberish, although add " index chart. htm" and this works. The homepage displays as it should in Mozilla, and also doesn’t in Opera. Clearly, I’m new to the, and any help can be appreciated. Things worked very good until I adjusted the date for the homepage yesterday, and I do not know what I may have done. Any ideas gives thanks, Andrew When you attempt to accessibility a root area (such as space. com), the browser actively seeks index. htm, index chart. html, home. htm, house. htm (default and … Continue reading

WYSIWYG Input Editor
How ought to be a go about creating a WYSIWYG web-based manager for input, ie. for news creation in a very CMS. We’ve used google a lttle bit to find an answer, but when rendering comes around, Personally i think like I’ve missed something. There’s no doubt that the general idea would be to have a iframe rather than a textarea. That you just then via JavaScript first turn on designMode on this document(iframe) Code: document. getElementById(editor). contentDocument. designMode = " on"; After this somewhat unsure. I have following, just a text hyperlink in making the text bold Code: < some sort of href=" javascript:; " onclick=" formatButton(‘teaser’, ‘Bold’); " unselectable=" on" > Bold< /a> But it lets you do nothing. Also, I can’t give any data towards the iframe. So when editing a preexisting news article the item just shows nothing at all. Tried using JS to write (. innerHTML) towards the iframe, but very little luck. Any help is great guys I’m assuming you no longer want to employ, for example, FCKEditor Probably not. I’d really like to understand how to do it by myself, for future benchmark. Also, I’ll be using it in some sort of commercial … Continue reading

Website not displaying correctly in IE
The classmates and I are setting up a website for training. Here is that link: http: //andibair. com. istemp. com/benchFitness/html/index. html The site exhibits perfectly in Mozilla firefox although in IE this tables are messed ” up ” as you might be able to see. Anybody have any advice for us as to what we can do to create it work intended for both browsers. Any ideas for the coding Krystle Avoid using a table with regard to non-tabular data. Types of class is this where it really is ok to utilize a table But MY SPOUSE AND I don’t see virtually any difference between Firefox 3, IE6, and IE7. It is a web design school 1) Many of us don’t do homework or student assigments. 2) Avoid using < table>… make use of CSS and < div> pertaining to layouts. 3) In case your " web design class" teacher is having buy < table> vertisements for layouts, tell your teacher to show you about CSS in addition to non-table layouts.
