Hello all
Newbie towards the board here and also was just dropping inside ask a solo question. Hopefully someone/ will help me. I was curious about what script/language might help me in creating my own survey/questionaire. I’ve googled this but all I get is certainly caused by programs that exercise for you but I’d rather build my very own from scratch. Does anyone have a strong idea Hello riseofthevalk, This is the board! We mainly use PHP for the type of point. However, there a variety of other options. Do you know what languages ones web server encourages Pretty a great deal everything. I sent you a PM which includes a link to probably our surveys. Next use PHP… easy to find out and many courses. Replied, cctech. There’s no doubt that you should just simply post it these… it’s usually no problem finding some free service on the net. The book " building the obvious" right facing me made the mention of SurveyMonkey. Try out that out. It’s kinda restricted in its free version but it surely looks good. PS: Try and keep out with PMs, please. Merely discuss, it’s better for the community. That you’re right about benefitting the actual … Continue reading

How to find your style?
We’ve learned html/css and Relating to Photoshop and Dreamweaver (Been learning for a couple years now). My organization is ready to start designing a web site for a project of mine, but I merely don’t know where do you start. I have witnessed various designers, through the years, and I have noticed something they all got in common. Each will seemed to possess a specific style, or many at least. On earth do you guys tell me the method that you got started And the method that you found your design: ermm: We had a discussion some time back about the actual strange phenomenon wherever a website designer for no reason likes the design of his/her site(s). I’ve designed a lot of sites and still need to go back and also change things… I can’t explain that, but it’s just the way it is. A number of people suggested that maybe it’s the quality of time someone consumes designing and developing that lends once more to making the site " boring" or even mundane. In any event, you can locate a free CSS theme (using Google) along with use that template since the backbone to your layout. The design, colors, … Continue reading

Grrr… advice please
http: //www. jasonstanleydesign. co. uk/about. php The top isn’t finished. That can be a tiny interactive flash business presentation. The question the following is my sub navigation on my related to and services pages. What do you imagine of it I find My organization is distinctly undecided along with after much playing around from it I am looking for opinions and assistance. Is it OK as it is Have you got any suggestions on how I possibly could improve it It feels very disconnected through the main nav. Especially considering there’s a lot unused space correct there below the main nav. Probably have, I think it will be good to possess buttons or at the very least a text treatment that may be more just like the nav and less just like the other text in the left column. Additionally , it seems like this left column is actually playing double work: contact form, submission move nav, testimonials, and while you’ll find nothing wrong with a space playing double-duty, Exercise like to continue my nav within a special place, or at least the first a pair of levels. The color change helps with organization though. I guess overall it’s actually … Continue reading
Differnet size monitors
Next time i created my internet site, I only filled the middle 75% of this screen. I just put a fantastic background in the actual outer 12. 5 % along with the other 12. 5%. I was kind of uneasy because I work with a 19 inch monitor and I had been worried about folks that may have small monitors. I type of followed the types of bankrate. com plus msn. com (they only create a savings fund middle of this screen). What is the secret for designing for multple observe sizes What will i need to look out for For exmaple MY SPOUSE AND I noticed that if you ever pull up an affiliate site like Ebay, it perfectly suits the screen no matter what size monitor you could have. Thanks for the info Carl Many sites are design for the lowest common resolution and that is 800 * 800. In that case, you will want your site becoming a fixed width with around 770px. Depending on ones audience you may want to throw away in which resolution and select the next size up which is 1024 * 768. Usual case the width within your site would often be … Continue reading

Hello All, Earliest post so often be gentle, and hello for your requirements all My organization is currently thinking about engaging in Web Design and was wondering just what exactly the best technologies to study is. Let me primarily be looking to create web sites for myself, the more interactive the higher quality with a perspective to them staying techie and futuristic with a lot of interactivity involved, items like forums, real time frame support, the ability if anyone else is to buy stuff on the website, mp3/video downloads plus real time streaming and probably any blog also. What i need to learn is what path we need to take, we’ve spoken to a couple of people and many are the suggestions i’ve had so significantly. Either are reduced the Adobe way with CS3/4 plus ASP. NET and C#/VBasic (i think or will it be VBNET). or even To consider the MS Expression and Silverlight Now as much as i am mindful Silverlight is MS competitor for Adobe flash and Expression is definitely their verison connected with Dreamweaver. BTW i should also have mentioned we dont know any HTML etc so i am going to be doing a training course … Continue reading

Trying to find a functional theme
Hello there, i’ve had this site for a time, but only not long ago have i started off editting it once more. I like the entire neon green, forest green, black large contrast combo, but i know there might be more thats done from it. Does anyone have any suggestions for almost any other variants i could truthfully add, or modify my own current theme having My site is my signature. I attempt to make my internet site browser-friendly and there’s no doubt that that kills 50 percent of it for the reason that im limited into the browser colors, but not ambient colors. If anyone knows the right way to include specific rgb color values that happen to be browser-friendly, i’d like to hear about that. Thanks. Only want to bump this… telling we’re not overlooking it… I think make use of Google to discover browser-friendly colors. http: //www. yahoo. com/searchhl=en& q=find cell phone friendly colors& btnG=Search Your web blog (and likes/dislikes) will be too personal. We would all have diverse opinions. Illustration… I hate charcoal pages with bright text. As a result of, that should for no reason be done. As well as dark green along with white … Continue reading
