We now have just begun designing some websites and since we print out our designs for our web developers to create this sites we thought that it might be handy if there seemed to be a rule/ruler that will measures Pixels to assist them. Does any one else think this may be a good idea Will there be one already available Would any web designs choose a ruler that options Pixels handy whenever they are designing his or her websites : vintage: Well, I don’t believe one exists, just because a pixel is an unit that exists only as part of your computer. It machines accordingly to paper. What I do is utilize a special template. I’ve made a strong image containing your blank space which has a complete ruler around it, plus many extras like " that 760px mark" in addition to " average early screen height". Hi, Ok therefore the idea im having originated an old apple program that handled files and ringbinders bu i cant discover the documentation on them. Basically theres a new structure of files gain access to (all pdf’s) which might be in a style in this way… HOME ________________ Folder Folder Folder _____ ____ _____ Track File File Track File File Ok so it’s just like a tree structure then again its not displayed like this. Picture a floating bubble in teh centre within your screen, the you mouse click on it and much more bubbles appear about it, then once an individual clikc on some of those bubbles it pans over to that section even more bubbles appear around it etc . until you’re with the final directory degree. HE I’ve never done such a project, but I think the purchase price would really rely on how you need to go about the idea. If you’re about to write the entire thing from nothing, you’ll need to charge a whole lot, as this will administer you forever. If you are planning on using a preexisting script and modifying it to suit your needs, do not need to charge as often. In my view, you need to think about how long the project will take and then decide what your time and effort is worth. It’s hard to offer you numbers without particulars. I hope I became helpful. Bundle website onto CD

We’ve a website I’d like to distribute into a client on DISC. I have made the many links local so that it will run wherever and doesn’t has to be online. I don’t particularly want any " Johnny" being competent to open Explorer in addition to view the web pages files. Consequently, if possible, I would like and program which will bundle all the files into a single. exe file which when run will extract each of the website files in to a win temp listing and show the viewer the website of their default browser. (not concerned bout Mac from this early stage) Perhaps there is a simple application that may do this Thanks Epoc that may be futile, as they might just check available the files in the temp directory if you want to show a client an online site, show them any screenshot of the idea, or show them the website on a laptop / PC for you to control. For starters, do they genuinely do that I found a new design firm trying to find production assistants this summer. Not looking for the money (although Now i’m glad its a PAID internship! ) but more with the experience. My goal is to phase out this freelancing and work with several companies because I’d prefer my resume and portfolio to indicate more than just projects I did for several consumers. This company expects people to learn a fair a higher level CSS, RSS, HTML DOCUMENT, Dreamweaver, ectera.. none of the heavy stuff just like PHP. But I expect that parallel my 2 years of experience they may ask questions or ask if i could demonstrate my own skills. What does one think they’d want me to perform I will say that that working traditionally with Flash in addition to CSS has steered me off from Javascript functions and pop-up windows. Gives thanks.
