Modifying Dreamweaver’s auto-indent

Usually the one feature I think dreamweaver is lacking will be ability to car indent for brakets. One example is you start inputting ". classname" hit return along with the next line can be indented, once you press it un-indents. Lots of other text editors have this (like Crimson Editor). This is a puzzle to me since i obtained interested in web design. I’m relatively new to web development and coding and so pls bare that as the primary goal when replying. I have read that using tables for layout is technically the wrong way to add content with a web page knowning that something like 70% of websites are impractical just for this. I can pattern anything in illustrator regarding web floor plans and i discover how to optimize images. Its just next time i slice it and also open it around dreamweaver, i don’t discover how to add content, as well as if i could, how to position it wherever i need to without the entire layout screwing up like it normally does.
