A "dark fantasy" website that doesn’t break The Rules
Hello guys! I have been previously told many times i always need to make use of a " dark seem and feel" pertaining to my site Tincture Adept However I’ve also examine that black backdrops are hard that will read, and really should be avoided. Any design advice on having a dim look without being hard to the eyes What I’d prefer is – dark fantasy feel – no garish colors (as can be seen I’m using garish colors right now! ) – good readability in addition to colors that move well together Should my main text areas employ a background image maybe a parchment paper effect or something like that Re-designing is something of any headache so a long way Jarrett Your background image just isn’t bad, but some kind of color might improve readability even more. Also, a banner about the top of ones page could start being active . neutral color. I’m not a fan of this huge strip involving black running down along side it, it’s not doing much to suit your needs except making coursesmart darker. I agree the ebony strip ain’t great. It’s actually meant to darken the site because my target market was … Continue reading

my new client INSISTS that I should set up a template for them
But they may be musicians, so I discover where they’re coming from. Also, I am already interested in a long-term maintenance contract with another client. Basically my clients will not be 100% code-savvy and so they want a system where should they type something around word, it can be instantly uploaded on the website. Does anyone know what type of thing I’m preaching about I said i always would do it, since I’ve heard about it actually becoming done, but currently I’m stuck. Bless you. BTW, I get TSW webcoder as my HTML software package, not Dreamweaver. Do need to learn much code to cut and insert the content towards the website, especially when the content is marked off in the code for straightforward readability. What I suggest, if you don’t want to add a CMS towards site, is to redo the site via CSS in the event you haven’t, create a distant relative div tag when the center content material, /* Comment that code where they should cut and stick */, and get them open any html editor and cut and substance the info. Sounds a tad Mickey Mouse, plus it will work when done properly, and it’s not … Continue reading

How you get inspired when designing a website?
Hello. So how you become inspired for your design I want to hear a person’s story. Thank an individual. Weed. (Come in, someone had to travel there! ) Severely, I have a perception of what I’d like to see, and then inevitably when i start drawing this out in Photoshop it issue different, I acquire other ideas, and three to four revisions later Relating to something. The topic on the site is commonly enough inspiration to me – I accomplish some research to uncover about whatever business the site is about, plus usually find that really interesting. My biggest dilemma is knowing when to fix – I usually cram everything with there, and use a lot of graphics on every single page. I try and think outside on the box and keep your principles of design as their intended purpose because designing for web is very about readability and understanding what the topic matter is. In my opinion the more relativity on the subject the more powerful the site is going to be. Technology is usually a different story I usually take ideas in from in the garden sources like associates. If I’m building a website for a great deal … Continue reading
