So I can code fine, but what about design?

MY PARTNER AND I guess I’m definitely not that creative people, or at minimum my innate creativity wasn’t fully realised just simply yet. Y’see, I will code a site not a problem. The problem arises with building a site look great. At the moment I have a new plain HTML page that has a small header. It’s simply a glossy black gradient having an outer glow, but I can’t visualize how to take it further. This happens a whole lot. The other issue is moving away from what I time period, ‘The CSS Look’: the theory that is angular, includes 1 pixel is bordered by around everything in addition to basic background shades, and generally seems like it’s been made by someone whom hasn’t really experimented. Pimp That Snack will be the prime example. Using other web pages for inspiration is hard because I don’t want a site to look too derivative connected with others. Greetings All, I do certainly not do sites by professionals and I have no idea what the going rate is, but a buddy of mine said today what he covered his site a year ago and I assume after checking them out he got scammed! could someone you need to tell me what a fair price would have been for the site. Maybe We are missing something that might explain it and My business is wrong in my own assumption. If not would you at least send me in the right direction so I will tell him what he really should have paid so he will not get ripped out of again. Designing for Art Display – Help Appreciated

Howdy. I would recognize the value of some advice regarding website design for art exhibit. My sister is often a budding artist who wishes to own a home starting to showcase your ex artwork. How does one attempt designing such something I’m a beginner, myself, and I don’t know where to start. What shall be most effective I want it to glimpse nice, but I know I would like to keep the item simple. Black and white overlays considering the background perhaps staying some variation of an 50% gray, to be able not to detract in the artwork when the item displays. Then, perhaps several designs in the borders and dividers and such. I thought in relation to introducing a slight little bit of color by using a prism-like range but I’m not sure how to use this. It seems like Javascript is used to populate the key image section. Does one say this is comming at a template Is flash being used possibly It looks like there may be a Flash movie while in the background somewhere, but it’s not necessarily embedded on the page. The Javascript is actually calling a function NextFrameFlashMovie(‘n’), where n may be the frame in the movie. It looks as if it might just as simply be calling static jpgs. In fact, the only. swf’s for the page look to be for a time/date funtion. I’m uncertain, though, because I have never seen this treatment and I are likely to avoid using Pen wherever possible. Setting up a website…

Howdy all. I am attempting to create by myself website and host it in your house using DDNS along with ZoneEdit. So much to do ordinary short space of your time means that i’m undecided what is not working since you can find so many variables involved! At any rate, heer is where I am so far and I hope someoen can guide me within the right direction. We have my domain brand, I have my ZoneEdit account and now have edited the Website settings as directed by ZoneEdit, all seems fine. Installed the DDNS program suggested by ZoneEdit and that appears to be running fien very. We have installed IIS6 on a XP machine i always access from a further computer on my personal home network by way of UltraVNC. Should’nt make adifference although home network is defined up on the DLink DI-624 router along with I obtained that external IP address after that and set it to the Zonedit account. Which worked OK. Created a Electronic Dir on IIS and created an evaluation htm file referred to as Index. htm and set IIS to read it because the main file. Hi My business is new to that forum and I need some assistance from other experienced fighters. I have done a a number of basic webdesigns in addition to PHP and connecting to sql db. I would prefer to add eyeglasses to my internet site and in these frames I need to add many live content just like from a news website by way of example cnn or people. Need Help Creating a name and image upload page

Hi Concerning been doing limited basic web design for the final 2 years and on one article I do, I post graphics that customers send end as a photo gallery. The client wants to cause it to where instead of getting them click over a link and e-mailing them to us we now have them fill released their name, e-mail, emailing address, and possibly additional info so you can easlily build a databases of customers along with send product tweets and news albhabets to them. Then the next page they need them every single child upload a picture.
