need help with logo for site!
Greetings guys, here is usually a layout I’m taking care of. It’s just a screenshot thus far (it will always be centered, don’t get worried, lol) I’m set on the design (meaning this is what I’d like that will use). My problem is the logo. I’m just simply not feeling the item. What do you believe of it How do you think I could possibly improve it Thanks for every suggestions! http: //www. open-orbit. com/mock. png The left vertical aspect, underneath About, ought to be given a color, similar to the shade on the navigate at the bottom. Also the tabs on the top, make the links a bit darker, or ” up ” a px, because they blend into this page. Appears okay though, all the best .. funny… you need to aready know… " We determine what you’re looking for"…. That is what the " about us" statement affirms. Really though… The orange color is determining on my LCD monitor as more of a puke orange-red… as well as it’s hard to view the lines as bfsog stated. It could be cooler if this caterpillar was built up with pixels — and also the illusion associated with larger … Continue reading

New Website on a Mac
Hi. I recently finished redesigning the actual frontpage of our corporate website, but dont get access to a mac. Would likely it be probable for someone to be able to post a screenshot associated with www. inlearning. com. au as seen by the mac on all the usual suspect windows. Thanks beforehand. P. VERTS. If you include any comments aobut the design, please let me know. You will get screen captures on the latest version connected with MacOS running Safari at this page: http: //www. danvine. com/icapture/ I went on and qued it in for you. All you need to do is put in your URL in addition to check the greyish box labled " Get a screenshot taken inside the last 72 hours" Of course this will not take into account any other visitor but safari. I believe that it is safe to state Mac IE is not anymore a factor, but you’ll probably decide to get one among omniweb.. Where I know, firefox must be the same, and also opera, on home windows..

Design Query – Your Opinions on This?
Fine so I’m assuming this is the right place for this… Attached is usually a screenshot of a typical page of a website I’m designing. Currently, does anybody else think that the ‘flatness’ from the top makes it look a lttle bit stupid Or type of, unfinished Like commonly there’s a bill or a logo above the key text but because the main text begins immediately and those two things shabby each side it types of looks a bit odd Does anybody like it Or agree by using me Thoughts Thanks a ton Yeah I think something is required to be there even if its merely a thin red tier or something, but I quite including the simplicity of everything, i’d have to view the site inside the flesh to actually know but at times very clean and simple sites sites can work effectively Very clean design… it takes minimalism too much, in my opinion. I really like it, I believe it looks genuinely nice. But I do agree that a red line on the top could appear cool, or maybe lines this way: ///////// going throughout the top… Very boring imo Okay thanks but I was only asking for … Continue reading
Web site emulator?
Can anyone know in case one exists I’d really like to have a website emulator that is in flash or perhaps java. That way perspective clients would be able to see a total working version of the website without being competent to rip out the code and pictures. You would just input your blog into the program plus it would display but inside a java/flash window, thus so that it is impossible to see source code. Has anyone been aware of anything like this particular could work with a program like FRAPS and create a video of yourself using the website, and then send them the particular video. Yeah i’m sure, i was hoping there was something about that may allow clients to experience around with their site without me being at risk from obtaining coding/images stolen. I guess i can make a video Well, you’d essentially ought to embed a product engine in Expensive, and there’s oh dear that would be efficient in any way. Not to mention the truth that people who are motivated to consider the code (not you can really steal HTML CODE… It’s pretty ordinary stuff… ) and images probably will just take a new … Continue reading

new mock-up
I’ve truly started a concept up of this future update plus was wondering precisely what you guys thought http: //farm1. static. flickr. com/171/393120478_4f5a5eeea8_o. jpg its on the flickr as their too big to put on here! Looks good but shouldnt this has been posted in hows our site well i contemplated that, but after looking at the blurb of the starting out segment: i felt that this was more ideal Yes, that definitely belongs the following. How’s My Site ought to be for *finished* web sites, as I understand it, which is the reason I’m often tempted to maneuver threads from around there to around here: -P Of course, How’s My Site is perfect for designs already applied into (X)HTML plus hopefully CSS. Static images associated with designs belong these or in other forums here since you can’t rate aspects such as download speed, handiness, and browser compatibility with a screenshot. ye seems to make more sense these days So, what can you all think I do believe it looks lovable… But it appears so simple. Is there going to become nav bar as well as anything yep, i’ve made a brand new one with nav that i’ll upload while … Continue reading

Navbar and other help
I am just recently breaking into web site design, and I ended up being wondering if this is halfway decent. Here’s a chek out a screenshot from the website in question: http: //img444. imageshack. us/img444/6079/sitetype1gf2. jpg About my navbar, I’ve set everthing on an external stylesheet to We can easily maintain a theme in the site. At present Relating to two line breaks involving each link inside code for the particular site, because I don’t know how to code it within css (if you know how, please tell me, that will be great). I must set a width with the hover so that i could put a new non-opaque background with it, but since doing this it now pushes every one of my links down whenever I hover over one. Could someone explain to me what I want to add or remove to fix this problem And here is the code WE used: #links boundary: 4px outset rgb(196, 195, 221); size: 110px; height: 375px; background-image: url(linkbg. jpg); drift: right; text-align: facility; #links place: absolute; top rated: 197px; still left: 15px; #links a colour: green; font-family: arial; foam: 0px; text-decoration: it’s unlikely that any; #links any: link text-decoration: it’s unlikely that … Continue reading
Bundle website onto CD
We’ve a website I’d like to distribute into a client on DISC. I have made the many links local so that it will run wherever and doesn’t has to be online. I don’t particularly want any " Johnny" being competent to open Explorer in addition to view the web pages files. Consequently, if possible, I would like and program which will bundle all the files into a single. exe file which when run will extract each of the website files in to a win temp listing and show the viewer the website of their default browser. (not concerned bout Mac from this early stage) Perhaps there is a simple application that may do this Thanks Epoc that may be futile, as they might just check available the files in the temp directory if you want to show a client an online site, show them any screenshot of the idea, or show them the website on a laptop / PC for you to control. Straightforward application, probably no. The question is actually, why Websites run locally will not be designed to end up being secure. An application that works this was is probably uncomplicated, but it’s not efficient. I don’t see … Continue reading

How to tacke wordsearch type grid.
Theres a web based game I have started to experiment with recently (stumbled with it while I had been looking for Ajax tutorials). Thinking about the game is to find words hidden within a grid. You are given are you wanting words are while in the grid and the primary two letters of each word (words must be at the least 4 letters). However if you can find 2 or more instances on the letter about to catch told which mail that particular phrase starts from. So, now I feel at grips while using game, I thought I would create a little app to aid me get the words. Basically just how my app works thus far is 1) I enter a variety of letters (as I say the sport gives you the initial 2 letters of every word) so allows say I key in two letters. 2) Then I enter the amount of possible letters there are actually (if I joined two letters plus the last letter is not on the list of border letters then here I could truthfully enter 6 and also 7, variable) 3) Right now, I enter the particular possible letters. (If I input 3 … Continue reading
