How can I get my site on search engines?

I’ve truly had my site up for more then a month also it hasn’t appeared on any search engines like yahoo. I also sent in it to yahoo and google under there submit a website section. How can I get it to show up in the major search engines Patience. That’s the name on the game. This tutorial on Search engine marketing will help people out too. Well it can be just a very simple site http: //www. davart. us/ and http: //www. davartny. com/. It only possesses one page no other sites really url to it. I just want it to come up on search engines while someone types around ‘davart’.

Expert advice on my 1st design project

Hi there, all! Thank you for viewing my own post. I’ve been designing web pages for any little over ONLY TWO years now, mainly developing websites (between 3 to 5 pages) for family/friends and also creating auction templates for eBay powersellers applying HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I use Illustrator and ImageReady to produce graphics. About monthly ago, I began looking for my web design/development services to small businesses and private agencies, and yesterday, I received a mobile phone call from my first potential client this wants me to create a 15 to SOMETHING LIKE 20 page website for a web based vacation company. The problem is that Truly never developed the 15 to TWENTY page website in my entire life, but I understand that devoting alot with my time as well as work, I is capable of doing it. We (my purchaser and I) have not yet discussed any more knowledge about the upcoming task. This will most of be discussed later this morning. The short-term venture will begin with Monday, 11/15/04. Meta Tags

Because that i require visitors to my own website, i’ve been considering meta tags, do they help don’t you put them within the index page solely or all webpages please help my home, thanks I’m no expert, but meta tags do help also , you can put these people in any pages you wish to show up. I’ve used them along with noticed it bubbled me personally up. sorry i’m very little more help the following. hth J__ yahoo and google meta tags, and you may find a wealth of info on them. Meta tags arent really familiar with index search machines. Mostly back inbound links, h1 tags, and two or three other factors….. Search WDF for search engine marketing and im sure you will see what you looking for!: classic: You should be putting the subject tag in (which isn’t a meta label but folk believe it is), this description tag with, and the keywords and phrases tag. On most pages. More or perhaps less. There’s loads of detail about most this on my own site, ‘scuse this plug. I put it there since it explains things completely which saves myself doing it often and over… BB.

Hi there! I’m new right here Actually I’m quite new on the whole web-design enterprise. I have a fair degree of knowledge in HTML/PHP coding, and many in Flash. However I had a customer a short while ago who required this his site was in the first internet page of results by simply google (when exploring on some keywords). How much for Site Maintenance

Hi, I have a client does anyone want a website developed.. Also wants me to take care of it for a while…. I was wondering af asking one thing around $500. Does this immediately include website maintenance Or else, then is that a monthly price… and how much will that be I’m starting off during this field so I also wished to know if 500 is basically low…. Gives thanks $500 is a superb price. Although it depends on what is interested in that (Flash, server sidescripting, extended SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING etc). I do think you should fee a yearly fee with the work plus the updates. For instance if the internet site design/development costs $400 then quote we $500 (the extra $100 will be updates). This figure may be more than $100 this will depend what is concerned.

I’m caught within a dilemma. I designed a website for a salon and it’s now commited to memory. However, the salon had his or her temporary site up while I had been designing the different one. Meanwhile, they decided to be charged a guy for Google search engine marketing on the short lived one. Now the domain name is on additional guy’s server. We would like to access it so I could replace the old website when using the new one. Learn how to do this I don’t understand exactly how this works. YOU. ) Is at this time there an FTP logon and password specific on the hosting space within the other guy’s server that we can use to take over the files via FTP and substitute the old files with the new files If you are, then I will need to ask him for this FTP and password COUPLE OF. ) Or would that login plus password give me entry to his whole equipment (not just the salon website) In which case he would not give this information to me.
