Starting a villa site

Good, here’s what We have for now. What do you think Splash Key Not quite sure what it’s. Splash page is quite nice, the principal… eh, could do better. It’s a little bit washed out and plain at this time. Yep, which is my problem. The splash page is quite good, but the key looks out of color and as you said washed out. Can you males give me ideas steps to make it more coluorful Site down at this time It can’t be down, maybe there isn’t access to the idea. I guess I am going to attach them here. No concerns, it is being employed again now. I’ll post an overview in 30 moments or so. Pretty good, but you may possibly do with some increased colour within the splash. Using some pleasant quality JPEGs in the surrounding area would clean up the site, and introducing some blues and green vegitables would allow for an assortment of shades and suggestions also. The splash page is pretty nice because you have a nice variety of colours included in the photos and the map and the like, however the main site is very plain, lacks colour and lacks variety. It’s … Continue reading

Site Redesign

Two questions with the fine people with WDF that halt long enough to help care – A SINGLE. Do you think I should stick with the old design (http: //fmd. port5. com) or develop the modern one, ignore the particular header though (http: //fmd. port5. com/Redesigns) (working for the domain soon – promise: -D) 3. Firefox users you will have spotted this already – how one can get the boxes to fall into line with the header (there’s something wrong while using CSS I think) http: //fmd. port5. com/Redesigns/ ) I dont just like the gray background upon #1, but usually it looks far better IMO. The second design is a superb concept, but I hate the nav, or along with scheme. The banner has lots of bright colors, and the other site is shades of blue. I think a balance must be struck. Also, I hate the font styles utilized in the nav, and the " fresh… " headings can be a little too huge IMO. Simply my 2 pence worth. Thanks with the feedback Spluf, you’ve reinforced a few things that have been niggling me regarding the second design. I think I will change the over the top … Continue reading

Design Concept

Simply whipped this up while We were waiting for evening meal, any ideas by you guys to get improvements etc – what you enjoy and what it’s not necessary to. Thanks ahead of time: -D Start to line up elements relative to one another, keep everything tight from the grid. The included image shows the way things are miss-aligned, the pink traces should merge together to create one single tier. There is no reason for your copyright notice that they are so big and emphasized. To ensure the colours/layout being balanced try plus aim at which include green: red at 1: 1… possibly changing some of type at the most notable from white in order to red would realize this. What’s the significance of the actual header photo Attempt making something with a purpose, you seem to be stuck making commonly used templates. It’s actually a good start but personally, a little also green. It’s dominating the page an excessive amount of. And I believe trico on the actual alignment issues. It looks a bit untidy and shaken like that. I would carry everything inline. Another thing, the font from the header. I’m possibly not 100% on it. Not really … Continue reading

If you realize how to use flash you may earn a few wonderful visuals with restricted art skills. Make a edge bar or add some sort of organizing element for the page. Emphasis the parts you believe are important. There’s no doubt that the layout is actually fine. You may want to try adding several background images (fading to help bottom or right) behind the very best and left regions, or just incorporating solid background shades. So I can code fine, but what about design?

MY PARTNER AND I guess I’m definitely not that creative people, or at minimum my innate creativity wasn’t fully realised just simply yet. Y’see, I will code a site not a problem. The problem arises with building a site look great. At the moment I have a new plain HTML page that has a small header. It’s simply a glossy black gradient having an outer glow, but I can’t visualize how to take it further. This happens a whole lot. The other issue is moving away from what I time period, ‘The CSS Look’: the theory that is angular, includes 1 pixel is bordered by around everything in addition to basic background shades, and generally seems like it’s been made by someone whom hasn’t really experimented. Pimp That Snack will be the prime example. Using other web pages for inspiration is hard because I don’t want a site to look too derivative connected with others. I don’t want something what a blatant copy regarding another popular site. Hence, I have the ambitions and my own ideas, but no skill for getting good results. I know I’m not alone who is such as this (or at least Lets hope so), but … Continue reading

Dreamweaver, changing the code view?

Relating to several. php files which are categorized as the extensions. set up and. module. We can edit them fine though the text is most in black. Is there anyway to render the text shades with these COUPLE OF extensions as Dreamweaver can with. php. DW will probably color. php since PHP, and practically nothing else. You’ll need to change the archive extension, most likely. Yea, what I do is develop a new document (in the following case, a PHP page) copy the code in the new document to get the color coding, then copy and also paste the code into the old pages next time i am done. Just it is important to copy/paste EVERYTHING when going backward and forward. -chris- this is what I have also been doing, however it looks like a bit of the pointless step. We were just hoping that there seems to be an option or perhaps a file where I could just add in these extensions. Ah well, back for the old copy along with paste.

Too plain about the left, too crowded (no white space) while in the content. Second an example may be just ugly. Font too large, color overwhelming. Whether it’s healthy or not, consumers are expecting a particular look. Typically, the look they want is sort of " template-ish"… when bad when that sounds. But you can get many free CSS themes (using Google) and tear them apart to produce it your private. But you’ll see with all the templates what type of font sizes, shades, white space, amounts, etc. are popular. You will discover that that you, your designer, will never like your special designs.
