A client wants autoplaying video lessons on their internet site. I know this in the form of terrible idea coming from a usability and normal annoyance standpoint but my Google searches just reveal people asking the right way to do it. Does anybody know on the credible source in which describes autoplaying content as being a bad practice Provided, anything that shoves internet marketing in someone’s deal with is bad process. Looking to get into Web Design, Advice Please.

Hello All, Earliest post so often be gentle, and hello for your requirements all My organization is currently thinking about engaging in Web Design and was wondering just what exactly the best technologies to study is. Let me primarily be looking to create web sites for myself, the more interactive the higher quality with a perspective to them staying techie and futuristic with a lot of interactivity involved, items like forums, real time frame support, the ability if anyone else is to buy stuff on the website, mp3/video downloads plus real time streaming and probably any blog also. What i need to learn is what path we need to take, we’ve spoken to a couple of people and many are the suggestions i’ve had so significantly. Either are reduced the Adobe way with CS3/4 plus ASP. NET and C#/VBasic (i think or will it be VBNET). or even To consider the MS Expression and Silverlight Now as much as i am mindful Silverlight is MS competitor for Adobe flash and Expression is definitely their verison connected with Dreamweaver. Web Design Career Change

Hi guys, it’s fine to finally join this wonderful community forum. I’m a cs scholar from johns hopkins and am service plan making a shift in career in to Web Designing. I have some experience back college involved in coding, so i do think the aspect with web designing wouldn’t be too alien in my opinion. html and css are generally pretty much the most crucial things i have to know and master very first right html may be a given, but what are some other things which can be a must know A pal of mine mentioned a few things to me including css, adobe flex, dotNet, Csharp, time period blend, flash/silverlight…. From your experience… what can be your personal method to learning web desgining html first of course, then css and also what next Reason i’m asking it is that i know very little about these products/technology other in comparison with html, and i’d personally appreciate it when anyone could point me inside right direction and also maybe share a number their experience. Javascript/Jqery or Flash

So We have attached a search within of what I need so that our question makes far more sense. I want to be aware of if it is possible to do something this way outside of adobe flash. I know the sliding doors and the sliding login tend to be my main question is concerning the video gallery. As a side note if you click on on the list of thumbs it would scroll compared to that video and perform it. Watch attachment 4793 You understand that Flash does not work properly with Apple products and solutions… iPad, iPod, iPhone If that’s a " deal breaker" for a person, I guess you should have to use JQuery. you can achieve that sort of effect with jQuery, also it shouldnt be too difficult, but have anyone considered using silverlight silverlight is a very powerful tool for creating dynamic web applications, without the flash-esque bugs, and could become perfect for what you would like to do. it’s also supported by means of apple products, google android, etc…
