Hello there there. Concerning a little internet site – www. worldofmonkey. com, which is a sneak fun project We’ve had for about annually. But I apparently have come across an issue in that WE now cannot do without the need for m Cpanel hotlink protection as my bandwidth is sucked up within two days due to most people hotlinking my pictures through forums, eBay auctions along with blinkin’ ‘myspace’ people! But ever since I ave squeeze hotlink protection in my forms will working, whether WHEN I set them way up as email sorts, or as they will always be in the over – directed to a file on the web space. I are working conversation with this guy that servers my site, and he doesn’t apparently know what is going on, claiming that I’d a file not often known, (though he wouldn’t hazard a reckon to which one) although I canot see how this could be as the styles DO WORK minus the hotlink protection, while I said. He seems to finish the last email with all the following: The server experts have searched into it and almost everything is ok, it usually is an issue having a compatibility between … Continue reading

What KIND of web developers are in high demand..or will be?
What prompted this question will be the program Ruby, which to me appears to be so complex which I’ve felt at ease with my understanding of Actionscript, CSS, HTML PAGE and Javascript. Also, I have a robust desire to find out about Actionscript, CSS in addition to XHTML. Since Ruby is PHP it is just a whole different pastime and now I am just deciding whether I should be able to program in Dark red or face appearing shut out by means of companies or remain faithful to what I understand and what I love.. the basic " 4 Food Groups" connected with online development. I prefer using CSS mainly because I’m a graphic designer at heart.. heavy programming like C++ is not for me, however I don’t would like to limit my marketability. Learning Actionscript is great given it goes hand in hand with the movements graphics side regarding Flash development, another enjoyable skill. I’ve learned that Ruby is critical for building uses.. but what style of businesses are truly demanding developers pertaining to online applications The actual postings on craigslist . org has me worried because I’ve noticed companies requesting with regard to job applicants with a " … Continue reading

New site under construction
http: //chrisbrewster. company. uk/bush What a temporary location until Concerning everything sorted out that will give it specific to it server and sector. This can be an entirely serious project, before an individual ask. Seriously. I’m cashing in to the latest trend and going for web 2. 0 appears to be (large fonts, curved corners, short obstructs of text or anything else. ). I aren’t able to really put the following in How’s The Site, since it is really nowhere near comprehensive. Do you think there’s any improvements I can make before MY PARTNER AND I go and finish strangely off It sorts of lacks excitement. No matter the topic, that font is boring. The header is definitely pretty decent so set off that. Use some numerous fonts and possibly try a dreary font and incorporate colors in the page header style. And what’s with the " not got an account". Not proper english. Neither of these links work. Usually its advisable to have an thorough site that will display before applying for feedback. I learned the fact that hard way too! Rather a distinct segment market dont you consider! I’ll second within the font, is it tahoma Also an … Continue reading

pretty much stuck on portfolio design
Delighted Holidays Quite simply, I am looking for a way to make my software more interesting devoid of cluttering up your interface. Right now concerning my company bill, contact info, and an " under construction" message. I want to add a list of websites that We’ve completed, but I do not have the time now and I don’t know how I could possibly arrange that around the interface. My completed vision should be to create a Pen interface of roundish-rectangular adventures that slide out of the main rectangular module utilizing a quick, smooth movement tween. With thanks. an enhanced design.. I possibly could have tiny snowflakes falling inside the background.. A portfolio is approximately the work — content. Anything else, blink tags, snowflakes, or anything else, sends a distracting message the layout is more important versus information. The look examples of Hellocode tend to be based around showing the work. Way too countless portfolio designs fail to focus on a client dilemma, a target customer, or a purpose for your work. All these added considerations generally is a source of creativity which differentiates what you do from others. There just aren’t that many interesting backgrounds, color schemes, box model hacks, … Continue reading

Learning the basics
I’ve been using Photoshop CS2 and Dreamweaver 8 for about… properly… 1 day. Ive been doing tutorials right through the day. I think i obtained a basic (very basic) idea of each. Ive been reading through this forum and yes it seems nobody likes dreamweavers " design" feature. For me, I dont understand anything about coding and many of the tutorials i happen to be doing show using the design. Is there grounds for this Furthermore, Im trying to learn Photoshop to design an internet page for my dad’s business. I learned from tutorials generate buttons and rollovers. For making a site implementing photoshop and dreamweaver, don’t you just design your webpage in photoshop as you would see it from the browser leaving spaces for buttons along with text, and after that just copy that into dreamweaver Any help could be appreciated. Could someone show me such as a template they will made in photoshop for any website so we can get a greater understanding. Sorry for being so inexperience but in the end i did are available here for aid. Thanks in advance, Vinnie The primary reason for the dislikeing with design view in Dreamweaver is because it can … Continue reading

A site mockup
I’ve gone for your (yawn) blog glance here. Not one of a kind by any benchmarks, and looks scarily just like a WordPress template (yuk). Anyhow: See attachment 3674 I threw this ‘logo’ in with the last minute. It looks out of place and probably really should not be there. It’s the part I’m having the hardest time with. It is more a experiment of my ability to style, and a weblog style layout is the best ways to achieve this so I’ve potential for content. I’ve missed released details like website colours and hover statuses and equipment, but I feel Concerning the bulk involving my ideas along already. Hence yeah, any good Well worth giving the XHTML/CSS treatment Or should i abandon it in addition to try harder (I’m also a fan of your certain show, hence the big quote at the center. I thought a random humourous quote thing can be good as the centrepiece of sorts). Format is perfectly natural (and hence acceptable). My problem is the lack of colors (obviously), but (less obviously) the following causes a not enough focal point in your page. I just do not know where to look first! Everything is very … Continue reading
