Is it just me or is the idustry slowing down slightly

Will it be just me or will be industry starting for you to slow. Freelance work seems to have harder and harder to locate. Any one altogether different having trouble Well… I’m interested around seeing the responses to the current thread. Things are slowing down with luck at my existing employer and I’m at the moment considering making any leap into freelance and consulting work. -Mike I have been previously thinking exactly the opposite. Over here the company has gotten an amazing amount of business previously few months, and I preserve getting inquiries for websites while I’ve taken my own portfolio offline. Flash MX Newbie.

Hi all, I could’nt get a forum specifically targeted for newbies so I thought this will be the best place to place. The provider I work for have recently placed me responsible of the website that has been developed in Flash by the contractor. Already we call for changes and although I have some website practical knowledge, Flash is proving for being somewhat difficult. For example you page has an index of several staff members, and I will have to add a brand-new member. I have got opened the. fla file and clicked for the ‘cell’ on the particular timeline that displays the all the list staff. I tried to copy a final text but croping and editing it actually edited the actual source. I have examined the properties in this control and it is a button, but once i add another button into the scene it appearance completly different (more as being a button rather and then text) I’m guessing that this ‘button’ is actually text considering the characteristics of the button. I have clicked the particular edit symbols button for the right of your scene 1 bar but it lists both Name1_txt along with name_btn. I’m obtaining this … Continue reading →

Customizable User Interface

I would like to renovate my own site and recreate it from scuff, I’ve been arranging some ideas plus I’ve figured out most of the stuff, but after researching several of my ideas more thuroughly I realized who’s can only become done via repository scripting PHP and MySQL I do think which I recognize nothing about. What I want to do is allow the actual staff members with my site to log proper user account where they can distribute images/pictures, post inside a blog, add inbound links, etc. Kinda like what they’ve at 1up. com for many members of the positioning. Here is an example: its my report never touched while http: //zaccheus16. 1up. com/ I would like to allow my staffers a select group connected with people to sign in, and have having access to a wide choice of customizable content that way. Finding a job?

I’m gonna be looking for a entry-level web design job soon, hopefully with a new design firm in addition to an in-house position which has a large company. I have a new bachelor’s degree in one of those ‘new media’ form programs, though I obtained started with basic web page design while I ended up being still in senior high school. Not really thinking about doing freelance products so my ‘experience’ is mostly limited to what exactly I taught by myself & what POST learned in school, a few personal sites i always have made with regard to myself, homework challenges, and stuff coming from a joke " internship" which has a company that probably didn’t survive the 1-year draw. I also currently have a very sort of part-time occupation doing occasional updates towards website of a smallish company, which We have had for might be 8 months today. I only know a certain amount of programming and Now i’m interested more in the design end of things approach programming end with things.
