new portfolio crit

just need a little crit on the final layout before we build more of the site. what does one like… and what does one not just about any opinions welcome http: //www. paulcurley. com/PORT2/index. php I’m keen it. It would not make me state " WOW! " but I do as if it. Nice, sparkling simple layout….. good us going for color. The sole thing that mixed up me was that Recent Projects I thought it turned out still loading (since this reveals to bottom out). Appearance good though. Only thing I will say is the actual Recent Projects (the " s" in projects) can be behind the border of the flash, so it looks slightly off…… bring this forward should fix that. None of the page are connected, so can’t declare anything there. So good, looks good….. sorry, only spent a few hrs on the site last night (design and dev) so it was only that page i obtained semi done. in terms of the ‘recent’ subject overlapping, i presume you looking at in something rather than FF once again i became rushing to obtain a bit of crit, wasn’t sure i became going down the proper route. do … Continue reading

Creating a dynamic image?

What I’d like to do is definitely w/ some snazzy value (php / javascript / CSS / mysql), is always to create a background for the forum avatar. Now because avatars will come in different sizing’s, the background should expand to the larger ones. I know sometimes it is done w/ a few CSS, but Now i’m no expert From the example below (click the actual pic, it’ll mature, easier to see), consider the blue square for the red background (the left half) as a static image, while using right half as being a full red background, with the avatar above it (CSS magic! ). At this point, in the very first one, the avatar is from the standard parameters (say 1×1 to 50×50 pixels within size), so some computer code w/ a 54×54 pixel red-colored square image would work with some CSS placing to center your avatar’s upper eventually left corner to A FEW, 3 on that background image would work properly. Note that it is assuming with any 50×50 avatar, it’ll give you a 2 pixel border about the avatar, hence the particular 3, 3 placement ANYWAY, here we reach the real problem. In the next image, you’ll … Continue reading

gif image not working

Howdy, Any one has any notion why a gif photograph working properly whenever opened on this computer, not doing work properly when submitted to website Gives thanks The < img src> value is wrong ketanco… give us a new link so you can " see" it. It’s most likely something simple, which is what I typically find. But ensure that your image label is correct, which is probably what’s drastically wrong. HTML: < img src=" /images/test. gif" width=" 200" height=" 100" alt=" my image" /> But give us all a link hence we can take a look better. That picture1. gif graphic animates properly about my computer. Nonetheless, when I heap to my site, it is simply just static image. What might be the reason < any href=" http: //www……………. com" > < img src=" http: //www…………………….. com/picture1. gif" > < /a> Is a code…. doesn’t are a problem with the code you jsut afforded us, but is it possible please give individuals a URL into the site so you can see the difficulty the traffic is: world wide web. robotdukkani. com I’m guessing it has to do with how you include it. If it’s animated on your computer just … Continue reading
