We all got an RFP today coming from a local University in which wants redesign its site, which includes several thousand records, and 60, 000 " pages" (meaning that you will discover 60, 000 internal links on the webpage… though not all are unique pages. Most are data-driven sub-pages), which includes: Information Architecture redesign (navigation in addition to content) Graphic Design Template Design Database Integration Content Supervision System (CMS) Integration (or development) We’ve never had to make a proposal on a really large project, and honestly have no clue what to bid about it. Anyone have any idea what something like that would bid out for.

Re-design using templates .. or SSI

I recently inherited a site that is developed using eyeglass frames. I’m going to lose frames.. so by using 400 html records, would it possibly be better to re-design your website using templates.. or server-side includes. I don’t see the templated information being changed too often. Explanations welcome.. I’m not too experienced with SSI’s Gives thanks! Jayell hmm i do not know Jayell, templates and SSI may not be mutually exclusive; typically templates would employ SSI. If you have that lots of pages I would certainly go for any SSI functionality… you’ll probably decide to look into using CSS div layers to position your own various elements for the page, in order to generate the page work from a similar way towards the existing frames features. As for the SSI itself feel free to use various technologies to complete it; php, or shtml or (if you are on Windows servers) asp. some feedback and help Trying to make a nice page with the DENIM look… just about any ideas http: //catherinebach. com/Denim. html document My advice is to use Google to look for: free CSS templates Get a template design you prefer and customize that. try trying to find a demin texture as being a google search — a seemless texture might look superior – also your font colour against your title is hard to read — try something which has a better contrast.
