liquid design & full screen text

Simply just wondering what various other design gurus think of using liquid design and having to deal with 1600×1200+ monitors in which make text span throughout the whole screen. Popular wisdom on the web design says that text should not span more compared to 4" wide from a column. Too difficult to read. I tend make use of liquid design on the majority of my sites because i’m keen on being able to take advantage of the whole screen. Sad to say, though, liquid design expresses that text will expand to fit the user’s filter, meaning you have got HUGE blocks regarding text that’s hard to read. Might some one post links to some well designed internet sites, its always nice to see what works. Preferably sites which are functional but good designed. Do you make money off your web designs?

Just kind of cuirous how many people have actually made money off their web designing efforts. I know, personally, I started making web pages… for uhh.. effectively, I don’t know why, but I did and that was almost 8 prohibited (give or please take a couple years) along with it’s taken until about recently for me to actually make money off from it, but since I am this indicates business is achieving a lot dependent on the amount effort I placed into it. I think it’s safe to speak about that web style has prevented me personally from flipping burgers down the street… but in no way making me some sort of millionare (although MY PARTNER AND I do turn lower a fair degree of projects). What about you I picked the car option. I think I bragged within the Lotus enough that everyone knows already; -) Really, though… I experienced it early enough to establish myself in the actual field, and I’ve also been smart enough to keep up with ALL fresh technologies that emerged. I took a rapid look at the particular install directions, and they also look pretty advanced, but they’re detailed, so you could learn plenty just by putting in it. Also, that support forum looks pretty busy, which is a great sign. However, unless you’re gonna use this bundle to it’s fullest extent, it could possibly be easier to make your personal website.
