Clean Site

Is often a clean site for instance http: //www. aol. com/ for example will it be code or artwork Can anyone point me inside right direction just for this. I personally believe yahoo is cluttered with a lot of links making the idea not clean, but because you ask I’m guessing you mean colors/graphics. Within yahoo’s case, they want a lack regarding graphics. Really the only graphics are for the top of as well as, and the sleep is ‘coded’ glowing blue text on ‘coded’ light background. So i guess a better solution to your dilemma is code I believe you just wanna keep to basic text with white background using a nice header graphic. oh really, you probably need to use a font including Arial at measurement 10 or TWELVE MONTH PERIOD. Times New Roman simply just aint clean.

Beginning elements ok?

So guys……… here I go again. We have attached an example. jpg of what We have started on for the new www. thomasinamusic. com. POST haven’t added almost any nav bars, content, or anything like this yet. This is the beginning features. Please tell me what you think, as a kick off point, or any strategies or comments. And to note: I have designed this in a very 800 X SIX HUNDRED canvas in Photoshop. I don’t know if that is correct or certainly not, or if WHEN I should bump it as much as 1024 X 768. Once more, thanks for just about all comments/suggestions. gretsky I truly feel that the colors are drastically wrong. Perhaps a white background 800×600 is definitely prefered, but it’s up to people. But it never hurts to be nice to people in lower resolutions! One particular note though, an individual running in 800×600 cannot naturally see exactly 800×600 for their browser. http: //hotwired. lycos. com/webmonkey/99/41/index3a_page2. htmltw=design That is the useful page this shows the ‘true’ shareable size for websites in various windows in various file sizes. It really is definently a video heavy site. I would go on and try it that has … Continue reading

Web Designers… The Client Process

I’ve truly heard in web development, it’s 50 per cent design, and 50 % communication, or handling clients. I am however young and learning web site design and making a career from it, so I’ve never actually had a customer yet. My problem is, What process can you go through with the client bit by bit. I understand it would vary person by way of person, depending on thier own opinions from the process. Questions that move through my mind cover anything from " How does someone get the information for your sites content" to help " Where would certainly I talk bussiness having them" To get information on the sites content, I thought perhaps letting them require a questionaire, I guess Love it if more don’t know, and that’s why I started this specific thread. Communication may be a HUGE part on the design process. When you finally move away from designing a website for yourself, it gets a great deal harder. Your tastes may differ from those of your client, and your client is the manager: he’s paying an individual, and he gets to call the photographs. IMO, it’s your employment to advise the client on what may … Continue reading

Help with first web site

It is my first website, and I desire some critique in it. Overall, I’m pretty proud of the overall format, but it simply seems too empty or plain and also something. Granted, I need to keep the idea generally simple, but a bit more liveliness would become nice. http: //recursiveloop. t35. com/div2. html REVISE: THIS IS NOT YOUR WEBSITE ANYMORE. THE LATEST ONE IS AVAILABLE THROUGH A LINK BELOW. Gives thanks! I’ve never been a admirer of black background objects and light textual content. It’s incredibly easier to read black text over a white background. The particular " colors" will set the mood for your site. Since anyone have simply no content (other as compared with Typesetter’s alignment text) it’s hard to determine if black is effective or not. The particular " music" link brings up a massive ad banner (in white)… looks really bad in your black background. It’s exactly about content Okay, here’s the light version: http: //recursiveloop. t35. com/div3-white. html This looks fine very, and I truly think it fits more considering the mood I’m deciding on… but when it is white it has even less effects than it currently did. REVISE: there will occasionally be an … Continue reading

Modern??

As soon as someone says MODERN LOOK what can they really mean (if you can share a couple URLs I’d appreciate it) I believe others will (and should ) help to increase this, but within my book, today’s looks is your white background, slim lines, sans serif fonts (very important), fresh and uncluttered, with lots of space. Notice i always said nothing related to colours, because I believe this varies an excess of. Expect this helps. I always think about a modern website as a modern house. Modern, if you will probably. Clean, non-cluttered. Perhaps light colors. Pastel colors. I am sick of scanlines, incidentally. They seem being cliche now. You might have a " modern" glimpse without them. Maybe I shouldn’t be talking though simply because my site is known for a background grid… Or simply " modern" is often a site that doesn’t seem like it was created in 1998.

tutorials for doing web page layout?

so i recently learned html as well as css and studied one of several web sites my partner and i found(a simple a single with white background) although now i’m seeing a great deal of web pages using special background graphics and images regarding menu bars, along with etc. Now i realized that the majority of the times people would start using a small image in addition to repeat it so they could have an even more fluid background that may be easily adjusted, besides a fix track record image. So basically they’d create a visual layout of the web page employing photoshop (creating precisely what the page will resemble (one big image)) after which it just chop in place the image directly into different parts…. quite a few for menu, quite a few for background… along with use them required right Does anyone know a superb place to learn about doing web sketches with photoshop i’m sure for html along with css there’s htmldog plus w3schools, but how about for photoshop website layout type things I understand that some will take care of the page influence into image, after which you can divide it in different parts. But I … Continue reading

Putting information on a map

I’ve a map of the vacation rental house. You can perspective it at http: //www. waikoloavacationrentals. com/kolea-rentals/kolea-map/kolea-map. jpg I’d like to see to put volumes over each setting up and link them to the property that is due to the building. All I’ve is paint in addition to office picture boss. Can I let that happen with either of the people Thanks, Keep the original image inside a safe place. Subsequently, use MS Coloring to open it. Not sure of your abilities with Paint, however , you can widen the right side so there is a blank white portion to enter amounts. Then highlight as well as drag them more than your photo. (the system where it tends to make the white foundation transparent). Save your image as any PNG type photograph because JPEG loses quality each and every time you save the item. Most MS Coloring versions don’t make it possible for you to change the standard to 100% (default is definitely 75% quality). And so use PNG variety instead. Then post a person’s new image again so I could see it. I could make an HTML PAGE image map permitting those numbers to become links. I’ve numbers on … Continue reading
