hello there, Remember to critique my possible next update to help my site — Aesthetic Design Website Development – please bare with me in terms of the loading page, it’s just there since the page relies so heavily on images and i still ought to style it. Code-wise the website is valid xhtml in addition to valid css and in terms of i can inform works fine in FF and IE7 in windows, if you could have any problems with other browsers you need to tell me. Currently I have the homepage, so i’m seeking a critique belonging to the design, rather as opposed to navigational structure, also i’ve definitely not got round to help making rollovers for that navigation yet. Basically as well as is before alpha, its basically merely a rough idea of what I need to make, but what would you think what can i improve on thanks a great deal, Solidgold It is really something different… that’s the best thing. Aging resize gracefully. Look at viewing on a 800 pixel browser. The text inside the content is too small with luck to read. Organization and Visual Help.
Hey men, so here could be the deal. I’ve had the website for almost a year now. When i relocated away for college i types of neglected it, but ever since i’m back house, i’ve got plenty of time to put on it. Originally, pondered a friend layout my layout to do (mostly because i had been lazy). My website is good for tutorials on steps to make sims 2 mods. I’ve still got plenty of content to placed, but I relatively wait until the better organized. So here come the issues. I personally don’t like the current design. I was pondering something bigger, in addition to a small page going down the middle of the browser. I think she made the room so small, and also the fonts. I had a survey a time back and lots of people said that it turned out difficult to find things. Now, I strive to be the one to design my own web page. I know ample XHTML and CSS for you to hand code it myself, but i just dont know how i’d like it to seem! It’s frustrating for the reason that i’ve had 2 years of graphic design teaching, … Continue reading

Hello First post the following so please defense if it’s in the wrong place. I’m looking for a few pieces of information so I really hope someone can assist. I’m actually writing with respect to my g/f who lives inside Philippines. I’m currently spending money on her to visit a college in Cebu for a " Web Program Design" course. It started 15 days ago and was likely to cover everything through HTML, through Dreamweaver, Javascript in addition to ASP and above. Or so this brochures said!! Up to now, on 3 days to weeks no teachers demonstrated up, and from 6 days training they say that one simple will be used on her picked subject. I’m no web page design expert, or even beginner for that matter, but I got her a pc for her studies and many " Teach you visually" books for things like HTML as well as Dreamweaver which she used very quickly. I will in all probability take her beyond this college at the end of the sememster throughout December and make sure to get her to study in the home as she cannot found yourself in America until first 2009. My problem having her … Continue reading

What languages should I learn so costumers can update their own pages?
MY SPOUSE AND I own a on the web radio station. My goal to the site is per DJ to have their page, where they will upload their aged mixes. They would enter in the name of the mix, upload it and it would automatically update for the page. I realize css and xhtml. I was told we should learn PHP to take care of the uploading section. But what in regards to the page automatically updating each and every time the DJ enters a new mix How may this be accomplished Thank you When you say ‘automatically’ if you mean without your refresh then AJAX can be worthy, although a php form submission is suitable too. PHP may handle the DJ stepping into the mix identify, the mix file itself and the page will refresh and the updated/uploaded infiormation could possibly be shown. I do believe he’s not soon after AJAX, and AJAX would be a step ahead too far from him here. The thing you need is a server-side terminology like PHP/ASP/RoR, which sometimes do admin logins, form and page generation to suit your needs, and a databases like MySQL/MSSQL to regulate your data from a logical system. … Continue reading

I do believe you’ll get some other answer from everybody, because in my estimation, you can find no methodologies. You can find recommendations though… Using XHTML… so the item validates: Per W3C http: //www. w3. org/ Using CSS style bedding for layouts (not tables) tables are for tabular information. Biggest… when a visitor enters your website, they know what exactly it’s about and will navigate easily. It’s about content. If you might be selling something, let the visitor find things easily.
