My business is concidering making an eZine that may have both an internet and a online version. I would likely perfer the downloadable version be around PDF. I have concidering doing the whole thing in html, making it dynamically along with databases, using a new page layout course like framemaker, or loading it many into Flash…
Any idea what the most effective method would be All of them have advantages, just dunno which can be best.
PDF is probably recommended, as it could well be exactly how an individual designed it. PDF may be used for equally online and online versions. Although people would want to open a HTML document perhaps..
WHEN I hate using PDF for online, given it requires people hold the browser plugin, takes quite a long time to load, rather than runs as easy. I am actually looking for a method to design a sole version, and then produce a pdf and html version from that will without much hassel. I planned letting people installing the html data files, but that is kinda messy in comparison to pdf.. so yeah.. I think TWO versions.. just dunno how..
XML
Using XML you should be able to render the same content in both HTML and PDF FILE presentations… I have seen it done, although have never performed it myself… might be something to examine up on
