hi im only starting designing webpages. I have developed a design for my client we showed her. I recently made it around photoshop. Im slightly unsure of how to know what program to style the actual page in i’d like to use many flash and web coding. However my layout can be a graphic box which i have made in place. I need my links and details to go ott of this common box, however layers dont work nicely in dreamweaver. Should i create the box design in p’shop In that case import into often flash or DW simply things is layers dont prosper in DW along with i’m not sure learn to get links in flash
i will email someone the theory and maybe they might tell me what programs to work with. Need urgent customer is getting stressed.
Gives thanks
Why don’t you post the design in this thread
http: //kellybucksey. com. au/jmsfashions/
is what i have so far i made the whole thing in thumb then imported my own swf file in DW8. now i need to put an enter link inside bottom right corner over the brown. I notion layers would do the job. However when i repeat this in DW it fails ( while i do it then check in my browser the stratum doesn’t show up)
Erm… cellular levels… they don’t exist. They’re a ploy created by DW to make-up their own name. In HTML they don’t exist.
Even if you would like use flash (which I say may be seriously damaging to get a site with valuable/useful subject material, as crawlers can’t see them), you will have to learn this basic web dialect – HTML along with it’s sister CSS.
kelb…
If your business that you might be making the site for is selling
a thing, you should n’t have a splash internet page. The point
of the website is to get the customer instantly to their
items.
Thumb pages are wonderful for " gallery" websites, artist sites, usually,
and sites exactly where a visitor needs to just examine things and be
amused. If a website visitor is expecting to buy things, get
numbers to call a business, find directions… will not use
Thumb.
Yes the customers easy information and promote them on your
companies products. A fine example is amazon. com
They don’t use a splash page.
your website isn’t to sell anything.
can anyone suggest whats the best ways for me to put it together
in dreamweaver implementing tables sorry now i’m just new to the and would like to learn more. your support is appreciated.
gives thanks
It sounds as though you have a lot to discover.
Beging with the basics, thre are good quality html and CSS tutourial sites on the market and you’ll have to start learning that first. Or perhaps find a local web developer that will help you with this website and pay him showing you what he / she does.
