Howdy everyone! I am new here as well as new to web page design. I would relish to figure out how to code and application sites on my own, but I really do not know where to start. What are the most important things I might need to know how to undertake before I could start designing online websites Obviously mastering HTML is probably the first thing to learn The way would I go about doing this Recently i purchased HTML to get dummies hoping it may be able to help. Although the book was published in 1997, it had great reviews also it sells for through $700 new now. I figured it had to be worth something. Does anyone get any advice or tips for me Thanks earlier. New to WDF have design question

We’ve a website that I would really like to add on the spot webcam video taking to, exactly just like youtube. Our website was built about the drupal platform. At this time you just add videos by recording to your computer then perusing your files and selecting the video tutorial. We would plan to add the on the spot upload but are receiving a very hard time finding what we all need, and suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Brandon Di Silvestro.

Getting back into it and need help

Hello everyone, I used to design a lot back years ago and mostly fretting hand coded but I used a few of the early versions with stuff like coffee cup and dreamweaver and perhaps splash, if it is possible to believe that, but it’s been several years and I’m working on a site and thus much is beyond me ever since I didn’t stay into maintaining. I’m working with a very simple web page, and my first and problem is that I’m just not grasping tips on how to use html and css etc. to produce my pages work in most resolutions. I imply, I know how you can hand code typically, but I get real weak with design sheets. I’ve acquired it where them looks ok, however is not right across websites and resolutions. I can make small adjustments then it will work in firefox however it changes one thing in ie making sure that in a specific resolution it’s fe’d upwards. I’m building a web site for a school and i need to implement the presentation display like this on Stanford Collage (events module) which boasts an event calendar that has a link below. I am just using joomla CMS. My focus is around the style of affair display they’ve attached to their homepage. Any idea regarding any extension with a module that can give me that result. I don’t mind if i need to do the decorating in css personally. Regards.

How is web page design different from web graphic design?
