Working locally.then uploading

Now i am updating some pages using a website and I’m implementing the page regionally on my computer with Dreamweaver CS3. I got just wondering after My organization is done and I’m willing to upload will all my links work proper. Because I notice every one of the links in the code is compared to referenced on my personal local computer. Hopefully this makes sense to some one. Hi. When you created the buttons via Dreamweaver (rather in comparison with say typing all of them by hand) then they will point towards the path to this file. Meaning while you upload them the links is not going to work. As an example lets say in a very folder name you will have the file index. html and as file you want a check out photos. html.
