Dreamweaver To Firefox Ratio Problems! I Think…
Good day, We are new to web site design. I created a website in dreamweaver. The top part has a corporation flash banner. The tabs all have got links to different pages. In dreamweaver. ONLY TWO questions. ONE. When I previewed the property page in Firefox the flashbanner had a gap between the bottom on the space and this slice immediatly under it. Funny thing is there’s no gap on opera, chrome as well as safari. Does anyone realize why and how we can fix this ONLY TWO. Not an important question but, I want to be sure the pages are generally all linked together once about the host like they’re locally. I couldnt figure out how to do the full upload FTP factor with Dreamweaver so i did it with Filezilla, that is what GoDaddy suggested anyways. Plus its more visual and so easier for our brain to place my head all-around. Anyways,,, If I simply drag and drop your whole root folder straight into host will your links still website link together What about excess stuff around my assets folder Is that a problem Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Especially the whole firefox issue. If you are … Continue reading

resizing vs creating another image
Just wondering what is better, resizing an image from the previously used just one or uplaoding like a new correct size image. My site contains a great deal of images and smaller versions from the same images. We were wondering if the item slowed down or messed up world wide web browsers making the changes. Is them better to upload two images, one original your decide one modified I would burn up much more equipment space and time merely was going in order to upload two pictures. Its just a thought and We were wondering if anyone had an thoughts and opinions. Better intended for what Speed a efficiency Then sure, if you will be serving up images who have not been size correctly or have not been optimized, then reuploading your corrected images would regularly be better. You can even upload one full-size image so when that image gets stored, a PHP script additionally creates a thumbnail of these image and saves that in a different directory. That causes it to become easier to upload images (you style do double work), as well as it’s faster when the idea runs… to display the thumbnail as an alternative to resizing … Continue reading

I’m about to check for a site template. I’m looking for one where the structure and layout is especially CSS. I’m willing to afford a good the one which I like. I might rather do that than build my own from scratch. After that I plan to be able to modify it wherever I’ll, but use it as being a starting point. Can anyone name me the right places to go that they recommend to uncover templates, and are available any problems i always may run directly into, or cautionary tales we should keep around mind Thanks in advance guys. I don’t know that you’ll get loads of help on any particular one. Your best bet is to hit up Yahoo. Licensing Question
This is a weird question: http: //www. fontshop. com/licenses/linotype/bernhard_modern_std_bold/ I can’t tell whether discomfort the font can or can’t be used on a web page as a great embedded font. The best way that reads, MY PARTNER AND I can’t tell in the event that " modify" refers to consumer modification (which for any site I want to use it on can’t be done) or world wide web developer modification (which means it usually is done, because that’s what I’m endeavoring to do). Almost any thoughts Holy cow. The best way would they actually enforce that TEN, 000 word license agreement Use their fonts with your site. How will they realize that the fonts were there That’s how I’m contemplating it. I got the font legitimate, I’m using that legit. Font Squirrel was okay about it, too. Besides, almost no one might see this internet site. It’s a website that targets that booming metropolis connected with Guelph, Ontario. MY PARTNER AND I kid you possibly not, they used to obtain a law that stated that you simply couldn’t take some sort of leak there (not sure should they still do). It looks in my experience like they are usually covering … Continue reading
Best Way to Get a Clear Image of Website for Portfolio
Will be best way to getting a clear image of the completed website that include in portfolio pages I currently showcase the page : press print filter – capture into Paint after which load into something like Fireworks. The particular trouble is, this often allows me a considerably fuzzy edge about the words – especially while i reduce it down in size. There are plugins for most browsers that will perform that for everyone. Don’t insert into paint, when you save it out like a bitmap, it reduces how many actual pixels… ( that’s a little bitmap limitation ). When you have fireworks, you can substance the screenprint right into there like a new image, save as being a jpg or png file. Then start fine-tuning the image size because of the size you need, the compression with jpg and png is greater. Btw… When you save it like a jpg in fireworks, it defaults to below 100% quality, until you get it to the scale you want, you’ll probably decide to keep it at 100%, then for the final export ( not save ), export it out and you also can change the quality % in order to whatever. … Continue reading
