How do i go about this?

Firstly sorry for so much to the way i obscured a whole lot of it. As well as is 2-3 days off completion and i’d rather the design debut on my site as an alternative to someone else’s: smoker:

The question describes the part that’s obscured.

I want this to possibly be an optional secondary navigation. The idea of it is that it displays links which often makes the article easier to find their way. Saying this a possibility essential and thus i need the user every single child hide it.

I don’t want to use flash, concerning seen a few sites use this with javascript. No less than i think the javascript.

Has anyone done this without flash Do you know the limitations of doing the work this way Can easily anyone recommend virtually any tutorials

That’s often achieved with getting some sort of opaque div (i. age., setting a div to look at up the whole screen and giving it the opacity of might be 0. 5 or whatever it becomes somewhat see-through). Assuming that’s what people mean.

And even display: none, display: block rollover thingy : although that didn’t develop ie6, perhaps at ie7 I wouldn’t bother raising my own hopes……..

That should work throughout IE. If I recognition correctly IE could only render your hover pseudo class take advantage of it on an therefore it would take slightly trickery, but it is really totally do-able.

In terms of Flash is anxious… how do you would like it to appear You may make a flash movie to travel there, and allow it to become change when there is certainly a rollover. And then, as long for the reason that mouse is for the movie, the nav will probably appear.

I don’t would like to use thumb, i have usually had problems buying a drop down food selection to display around flash plug inches.

I merely want 1 push and its generally there, another click but it tucks away for a second time. JavaScript hasn’t recently been mentioned. Can that be done throughout javascript

I’m still certainly not 100% sure on the you mean, but if it is something triggered with a click, it need to be doable in Javascript: -P

its is a similar effect to the lightbox thang that will uses javascript.

try googling them and see if you alter the code to what you look for (or even see if its what your trying to achieve)

in work so allow me to do much, will endeavour post later: -D.
