Hello there,
My business is about to make a website for this individual and was wondering about how to go about establishing the layout.
He want a frames page setup in order that when a website is cliked that loads up with another section. Would this be the most effective bet for as well as or is there any alternatives
The website could contain information about items in his or her shop that he or she owns, no e-commerce and also anything just details.
Gives thanks,
Matt
Don’t apply frames.
Give all your pages an proxy of. php (instead regarding. html).
Feel free to use PHP includes to help fill-in the sections of information.
This could be a reload from the page. If they doesn’t want that page
for you to reload, you incorporate the use of inline frames < iframe>, and that is much better
in comparison with frames < frame>.
You should employ a CSS layout (as instead of tables).
OK thanks with the tips.
How would MY PARTNER AND I do an use in PHP
Gives thanks
Example,
Say you’ve got a text file this way called " word. txt"
(or maybe it’s called: " word. html"… whatever
It is my text file< br>
when I’m describing< br>
my own products.
In that case, this would be your web site called " index chart. php"
< html>
< head> < title> My own Page< /title>
< /head>
< body>
It is my page. < br> < br>
< php include(‘text. txt’); >
< /body>
< /html>
If you were to display " index. php", no matter what is in
this. txt file would appear rather than the " php include" line.
Maybe it’s text, images, HTML DOCUMENT, whatever.
OK thanks you could have been a substantial help
Well I have started out and after this I have make this obstacle.
I have put the entire code in with regard to borders, but the part while using Flash will not appear around the left or proper sides.

Could someone please have a look and tell me where We are going wrong.
Thanks
Matt
What exactly would it be suppose to glimpse like
Both IE6 along with FF displays it identical.
Where the actual flash animation this says " Discount Computers" I have instructed it to add a border along at the left and right sides with the < div> but they’re not showing up.
I have looked at it in IE6, IE7 and also FF.
Hmmmm
In your HTML you get < div id=" div" >,
but you do not have that ID inside your CSS file.
And you might not be able to work with " div" as an id.
Switch it to < div id=" divswf" >
In that case, in your CSS…
#divswf
bigger: 100%;
border-left: 1px sound #000;
border-right: 1px sound #000;
text-align: core;
If it does not work, it is likely to be because < thing class… > can be over-riding
your CSS. Let us determine what happens.
Weird but it truly is still doing the same thing hehe
REVISE: Yay its functioning now, must of been keeping a classic copy in Cache.
On account of everyone that aided: classic:
Sorry to bother everyone all again… darn feel a real newbie
But how would i get the white section to be underneath the grey section around the navigation part
Heres the link again so you can see what I am talking about:

Gives thanks….. again
Matt
What white wine section!! The whole page is white except the nav so… it’s a bit hard to determine " which" (maybe) white section you are talking about: giggle:
Ooops i meant the limited white box while using black border wherever it says " put file soon".
My own bad………
I still have no idea what it is exactly that you are trying to gain: errm:
Can’t you give us an photo of what you are expecting
Well take a look at this picture, Lets hope it describes what We are getting:
http: //i121. photobucket. com/albums/o227/dcs-longhorn/help. jpg
I assume you’re viewing your internet site with IE7
Your code looks fine
< div id=" navigation1" > Routing < /div> < br /> < div id=" navigation2" > PUT FILE SOON < /div>
unless you could have floats assigned to prospects ID which POST couldn’t find with your CSS: ermm:
And this I see with IE6 and FF
See attachment 3461
See attachment 3462
Thats weird simply because then it means that something else is wrong so it isnt rendering the actual background colours along with borders.
Completely the other to what I enter IE7.
WHEN I even added
float: quit;
to the navigation2 element but its still not working in IE7.
I have checked it in Firefox while using new CSS however it comes up simillar to yours did
Mound……..
