Males, I’ve lately been having lots of difficulty picking your career path. And I need some rough data on the amount I can expect to become paid. If you can spare some time to fill this in, I will list different types of projects, please. Added details also a lot welcomed.
A SINGLE. A personal home-page, perhaps 3-5 websites of static facts.
3. A blog.
3 OR MORE. A simple facts exchange portal, say for your community on carpentry, with all the current features (forums, information, downloads, etc) in it.
SOME. A media site (video and music downloads, etc).
5 VARIOUS. Personal portfolios.
A FEW. A company internet site (including e-commerce procedure and products database).

I charge $45 an hour regardless of what, so it’s all dependant for the time a project requires.

Understand that these are rough estimates from your top of my own head. What’s much more important is deciding an hourly charge. Mine is rather low because my overhead is defined as zilch. I online business, so my hourly rate is all about 95% profit. Lets hope that helps.

an e-commerce site with only 80 several hours… thats horrible make sure you charge much extra unless their production is ssmall.. b/c you would need to photo shoot just about every product…
the provider i work for charges as a minimum 6k for a strong e-commerce site…
All I’ve succeeded in doing so far is not one but two artist’s websites that were like a mix between these two. Lots of optimised pictures, a database, energetic php pages. New music and films carried out in. flv structure.
I charged only over 500 (950 Usa dollars or so) per one – while I think which might be a bit cheap as I’m in the beginning stages. Took me age groups. The clients were very proud of them.
Price included most graphics and design done from your blank slate, optimisation and also cropping of any kind of pics, php coding, sql conference tables, and guidance having hosting and domain name registration. And the rest of the obvious things for instance attractive text, and so on. etc.
Edit – oh yeah as well as option of a few basic flash motion picture presentations should they need them – you already know just the image fading on the front page, that sort of thing.

yea it might depend on also but if your are customizing your open source e-commerce site.. b/c when you input the choices it automatically creates your php page so i’d personally say base it punctually.. if the case was 1500 internet pages
Thanks a whole lot guys… I’m hoping freelance do the job to international customers do me good, because here in Indonesia, the costs is horrible… I’d personally easily get kicked available for saying I would like $40 for an hour or so, it’s far excessive in my country. These prices appear promising… And to consentrate I made by myself CMS for with regards to $50. Phew.
Do you think a media plus portal site would likely take that lengthy For media I see lots of effort being put into encoding videos as well as such… As for portals, I presume you’d use the open-source forum system

Well my hourly rate is always the same and I recently estimated a period. The majority of my clients produce images, so I wasn’t charging for your photo shoot. On top of that, as mentioned throughout my previous submit, my hourly price is 95% profit so that you can’t really review what I charge to some larger company simply because it’s irrelevant. Our company’s rate can be about 20% on top of what Beachkitty listed above for the people projects.
Being successful a lot to take into account for projects like you mentioned previously and a good professional quote can only have access to once you know every one of the details and any extras how the client is trying to find.
I recommend that you figure out your hourly rate should you be a home office wordpress website designer…. basically just learn what your time will probably be worth to you.
