But when you click the arrow to return to the referring article, the page reloads in addition to appears back in the top of the page as opposed to returning to the stage on the internet page where you eventually left. Using IE A FEW the page returned to the stage where you clicked to the thumbnail, now using IE 6 the page dividends refreshed and with the top of the page. How one can correct this. Just while using the simple html line of: a new href=" fullsizedpic. jpg> < img src=" thumbnail. jpg" > < /a> you can view one of many photo pages from: The particular BuccoZone. com Site – Game Time Photos 09-17 & 9-19-2010 Anyway.. would like to fix this without (if possible) opening image utilizing a new window introducing the code target=" _blank" I’d personally use prettyphoto or lightbox to present the full-size pictures. Do you JQuery application (Javascripting). Here is certainly one of prettyphoto: Herndon Heald — jewelry – handmade – artisan Mouse click on any thumb and you will see the JQuery … Continue reading

Preload images or use a status bar to indicate page load progress?
Howdy, I’m redesigning my own site for a change and still have decided to use Simple Controls Gallery for the image viewing (it’s some sort of photography website). Nonetheless, it’s taking around 10 seconds for any gallery to initialise. We have 52 images up to now, all " saved for web" through Photoshop to minimize size. I think preloading the images would be counter productive as which is what the JS gallery script does on. Is there a way of integrating some sort of status bar and also countdown clock if anyone else is to see while the gallery initialises And here is the link: http: //www. 17minutes. company. uk/ Many thanks, Lol Are you sure it’s your images causing the condition and not the gallery If it’s the images, preload them independently without the gallery and display them over a page. No strange effects or anything at all… just the FIFTY TWO images on 1 page. This noises excessive, but you’re wanting to determine whether it’s the images or the gallery that is the problem. I suspect it’s the gallery, even with FIFTY TWO server calls to receive those images. Another thing you could possibly do is weight a … Continue reading

Way of making first page viewed use 1 style sheet and other pages a different sheet?
Hi all Can there be a way connected with coding: 1st page viewed on a session (regardless that page it is) = CSS page 1 most of other pages viewed = CSS published 2 I have a site the place that the landing pages are generally 1 of 7-8 webpages, but people COULD POSSIBLY land onto additional back pages. What I would prefer to do is usually to make the very first page they land on have a very big impressive masthead by using large rotating graphics of previous work however to make subsequent pages use a very small masthead so people any longer ! keep scrolling along. Depends around the programming language used, and no matter the way you do it, it shouldn’t get perfect (mostly because people have option not just to save cookies/session variables about their machines). Here’s how you’d take action in ASP: Code: when Session (" visited" ) < > " 1" in that case Session (" visited" ) = " 1" Reply. Write " < url href=" " first-stylesheet. css" " rel=" " stylesheet" " type=" " text/css" " /> " altogether different Response. Write " < url href=" " subsequent-stylesheet. css" " rel=" … Continue reading

Help with flash design (I think)
Howdy, I have a concept for a feature I would like to put using a website page but I’m unsure what it’s authored in. I’m guessing Adobe flash but I’m undecided. I’d like to add a tiny door/icon that you visit. The door opens so you are directed to help another page. It could also have an arrow aiming to it that moves between the two pointing toward that picture to visit or simply an arrow around the door itself Is niagra making sense Furthermore, is this hard to perform I’ve seen some thing similar on different sites. I just don’t know how to action my thought. Thanks on your help with this kind of! BTW, I’m not in search of something to begin this for me. I would like to know what form of program does this and I will figure it out from there, hopefully. I asked some of our flash guru along with she said it really is done in display, but there may be a pre made script somewhere in the land of the net that will get it done for you and she had utilised it before but doesn’t remember where she found the item. … Continue reading
