checking website in NS and IE browsers

I will be creating my own website with no html editors. Concerning the website built also it looks great in IE that’s my default cell phone browser. My page links inside the page works very good and from linking page to page, ie going with the home page to help page one, web site two and web site three in IE. However next time i open it up in NS the links in the same page as well as links to open other three pages won’t work. Could this often be because NS is not really my current default visitor I rather fresh at this so I hope I have created myself clear. I have looked at and rechecked in addition to all links is very much set up so. My links to help other websites works fine in NS. Thanks for almost any help. Your default browser will not cause an error like that, it’s just an additional example of the best way IE and Netscape render pages differently. With out seeing the computer code, I’d guess that there is an error in your own syntax, because IE is quite forgiving in terms of HTML mistakes, along with browsers … Continue reading

Web Safe Colors

What are the dangers of employing colors for web site design that arent ‘Web Safe’ Does it have to do with browsers I am talking about, do only old browsers must have colors that usually are ‘web safe’. Am I spending my time getting web safe colors to fit my site when it only benefits an extremely small percentage regarding people Furthermore, if I try a cholor scheme thats possibly not ‘web safe’ so how exactly does it appear with browsers that dont see made from correctly There’s no doubt that the ‘web-safe’ shapes and colours idea was created when some monitors only had that capability to show 256 colours. Given that most screens resolution can cope with 24-bit or more significant, I for one don’t follow the websafe principles. there are 216 web-safe colorations.. they were named that way because at lowest those common colors could be represented somewhat accuratly no matter what browser, monitor, THE GW990, etc.. your users viewing your website page are using. The one effect that would happen is all colors that are not websafe would display as a different color, generally the closest website safe color. People rules dont really apply much anymore.. i … Continue reading

Browser Weaknesses

I’ve finally got all around to making the page valid XHTML 1. 0 Transitional, but although it’s valid, i realize you can still get differences along with different browsers. I’ve heard from through at SitePoint community forums that as browsers render pages in another way, you need to understand about weaknesses in Browsers, and when there is when you take a step which messed up in a certain browser, therefore , the main questions i have here are. 1) Is there just about any Emulation program or script on the web that shows you what a page will look like in every diverse browser, across most of OS platforms (e. h. IE, Firefox, Opera, Konqueror, Safari, Myriad, etc). 2) Is right now there any specific site online dedicated to informing people around the problems in various browsers I’ve searched from the W3C site, but it really still doesn’t really clear stuff up with luck.

Very Small difference when viewed in IE opposed to other browsers

If u have an alternative web browser for instance firefox or netscape check out this layout throughout both http: //www. satelliteonline. pwp. blueyonder. co. uk/ i recognize its only pretty minor, and when i shouldn’t even be troubled, but its pestering me. Look with the div, it seems smaller in internet explorer than it will in the various other browsers. The scroll bar doesn’t increase to the image if u know spinning program so well. is this curable as well as is it a kind of things that u must live with along with would take a little fiddling around to get right As much as I can understand from your message (without checking it in Firefox or maybe Mozilla as I do not have the browsers at my current location), it seems which the problem you include having is something related to the way of which other browsers render borders and extra padding. Not sure if it something that you can fix, though hoepfully someone else are able to throw a little more light on the topic than me as I are deprived of the tools at the moment. Only am wrong, then I apologise! To begin with, I … Continue reading

AOL Browser problem

OK I’ve a rather compact problem that as a result of my client has risen into a larger one! The website I created succeeds fine on all browsers except at AOL. Here’s the problem. When I develop a site POST use 1 TIMES 1 pixel see-thorugh gifs as " spacers" to do the tables on the website just so there exists a graphic there to take up the empty spaces. When my buyer tries viewing the website on the AOL web browser the spacers show up as missing images and they also stay that approach until he important " refresh". Only then complete the spacers look. One thing I tried to acquire it working is usually preloading the spacer image. That didn’t can anything. Is there a way to fix this The key reason why does this only happen around the AOL browser Just about any help would greatly be appreciated! -= greendog =- AOL visitor SUCKS. Flat available. Tell them to work with AOL connection in conjunction with a real internet browser. I recognize…. tellme about that.

How to make a smart stretchy site?

I would really like to create a web site page layout that will fills the people monitor. What We’ve been working on is often a main table at 100% after which including tables within to feature the content. I’d prefer to cater in order to users using very low & high resolutions so My organization is having problems designing/coding the page structure and hiring problems like things to make stretchy. Any suggestions with a basic layout that makes most most people happy Fixed dimensions of like 790 by 600 will usually work with a lot of browsers 790 leaves a small amount of room for tailor made scrollbars.. I find that 760 works best typically.. Yeah MY PARTNER AND I use 755. mattwise if you ever care about Macs, use 744 as well as 748: http: //webmonkey. wired. com/webmonkey/99/41/index3a_page2. htmltw=design 744 is for MacIE4. 5 i don’t even understand if museums possess a copy of yeast infection. RSS intergration with IE?

Can be their a wordpress extension for RSS bottles for IE That browsers support RSS Does one think IE will probably support RSS of their next browser WHEN I use firefox, but if i want to integrate a Rss feed into my site, my IE visitors wont be capable to use the attribute. Which sucks. Hence is their a new plugin for IE gives thanks! You never know with MICROSOFT, but if they actually I’d guess also they’d make their unique version of the idea, or give this some flashy label, if at most of. I believe, I use Bloglines. com for my Rss feed, as does Brak. 100+ websites in my record, and I can certainly access/edit/update them from any web browser, regardless of where I am. RSS wasn’t really for the purpose of browsers, it’s more of an easy way that Firefox adaptable the technology. Many people using RSS employ aggregators (like bloglines). These are great, and seeing that Wired said : non browser established. And non-PC established! Having access to it from at any place is great!
