Know what I want, not how

I am aware exactly how I would like the page being setup, but I’ve got some learning to accomplish. If anyone can certainly tell me what I’m looking to do (in technical terms) then hopefully I will take it following that. What I would really prefer to do is possess a page with a highly regarded and bottom bar/table/whatever which are always there which stay on the very best and bottom no matter if the page resizes. Also, inside the major body there would be a menu on the left that could stay aligned on the top bar because the browser expands downwards. I’d like it to end up being lightweight and tight so that there are not any visible boarders, simply blocks of coloration. It seems such as CSS is easily ideal, but in that reading I’ve obeyed far I have not found anything that simply tells me how to accomplish this so I’m undecided if I’m headed inside wrong direction. The image below will need to help illustrate my goal. Thanks for virtually every advice, code, or resources it is possible to provide! http: //img2. imagepile. net/images/77112708. png simple enough to do all you’d do is make something … Continue reading

drop down menu item to link to another page

How would I go about linking a fall down menu item to another page in my web site Simplest system, but requires Javascript: HTML: < select onclick=" window. place = this. value" > < method value=" page1. html" > First Page< /option> < method value=" page2. html" > Following Page< /option> < /select> While i use that signal, and I click a service in the fall down menu, it just clicks and reloads the initial item frequently. I accomplish my drop-downs around CSS, so I’m not 100% convinced, but, since it’s actually a select, try attaching filburt’s code around < form> tags. Drop downs throughout CSS are pretty straightforward should you be comfortable with CSS. MY SPOUSE AND I generally do nested unordered directories for navigation, while using inside < ul> getting hidden until this hover. That appears confusing, so i want to show you. HTML: < ul id=" nav" > < li> < the href=" index. html" > home< /a> < /li> < li> < the href=" section1. html" > Portion 1< /a> < ul> < li> < the href=" s1_pt1. html" > Sect. ONE Part 1< /a> < /li> < li> < the href=" s1_pt2. html" > Sect. … Continue reading

Big Dreams

So Allow me to fulfill my goal! Id advise you to use CubeCart despite the fact that you dont have got to spend 100s associated with hours deveoping that cart system, It comes using 3 skins and when I remember correctly then 1 of the skins is a fairly comparable to what you are looking for all you have to do is modify the dew images to suit what you need and edit one or two CSS entries inside a text editor alothugh username advise using dreamweaver would make things alot less difficult. heres an example from the recent project, not CubeCart but youll get the thought of using CSS Code: body background-color: #FFFFFF; background-image: url(.. /images/b1. gif); margin: 6px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-color: FFCC00; font-size: 14px; peak: 22px; . header background-image: url(.. /images/header. png); peak: 145px; width: 800px; … Continue reading
