Learning the basics

I’ve been using Photoshop CS2 and Dreamweaver 8 for about… properly… 1 day. Ive been doing tutorials right through the day. I think i obtained a basic (very basic) idea of each. Ive been reading through this forum and yes it seems nobody likes dreamweavers " design" feature. For me, I dont understand anything about coding and many of the tutorials i happen to be doing show using the design. Is there grounds for this Furthermore, Im trying to learn Photoshop to design an internet page for my dad’s business. I learned from tutorials generate buttons and rollovers. For making a site implementing photoshop and dreamweaver, don’t you just design your webpage in photoshop as you would see it from the browser leaving spaces for buttons along with text, and after that just copy that into dreamweaver Any help could be appreciated. Could someone show me such as a template they will made in photoshop for any website so we can get a greater understanding. Best software for a newbie to use?

I’d like to create an online site for a house service business that has 8 pages. The property page, a " might know about do" page, testimonies, contact us, faq, a sales mail page, a fit page and an order page of which utilizes Paypal and 2checkout. Is there software with some sort of shorter learning curve which may help me create a decent looking internet site I only realize html and are barely proficient by using Photoshop. When should I say I have experience in a technology?

I believe there are obvious levels since it pertains to experience, especially in this particular field. I include, and I’m sure everyone in here has, toyed by using different technologies or languages. I’ve create several Windows job application, such as photograph views, or calculators, but I would never put I have experience with C#. I’ve simply toyed for it. My question is, at what point are you versed enough from a language or software program, where you may accuratly say you could have experience in this. With HTML as well as CSS or Javascript, a good employer can simply view your form, but I’m conversing more directly for server-side languages within this posting. Organization and Visual Help.

Hey men, so here could be the deal. I’ve had the website for almost a year now. When i relocated away for college i types of neglected it, but ever since i’m back house, i’ve got plenty of time to put on it. Originally, pondered a friend layout my layout to do (mostly because i had been lazy). My website is good for tutorials on steps to make sims 2 mods. I’ve still got plenty of content to placed, but I relatively wait until the better organized. So here come the issues. I personally don’t like the current design. I was pondering something bigger, in addition to a small page going down the middle of the browser. I think she made the room so small, and also the fonts. I had a survey a time back and lots of people said that it turned out difficult to find things. Now, I strive to be the one to design my own web page. My organization is ready to start designing a web site for a project of mine, but I merely don’t know where do you start. Help; Trying to design a cooking website

My business is trying to style and design a cooking website (although My business is a newbie during this). I was wondering if there is a template or even a " widget" that will help you do something in this way: Materials (in bold) product or service here product or service here product or service here plus much more spaces if needed Instructions (bold) information here Baking times (bold) information here As well, a place to be able to insert a photo in the top. IE and Firefox

My webpage comes on just the way I’d like to see it to within Firefox. But next time i view it throughout IE, it equates really weird. your menu is far too spaced out, the tagboard doesn’t come up correctly and the fonts are bigger(sometimes). How do I turn an Awesome Illustrator design into a Dreamweaver Home page?

I’m a newbie in addition to I’m stuck.: expended: I designed an incredible homepage in Illustrator CS2, incuding nav bar, buttons, etc. and I’ve Dreamweaver CS3.
