Trying to center whole page AND font not showing up
My organization is designing a website and I made use of a computer which has a " widescreen" formot check. Well, when I look at it on an everyday computer it is far too big and a lot of scrolling across is necessagy to watch the page. I managed to produce the page smaller sized, but I were going to know if there was anyway I could center the full page so it is available centered no matter what computer or browser can be used to view the item. Additionally, I use a new font that comes on on my laptop, but on some other computers it comes on as Times new roman, and not the font i have used ot style and design the page. Every suggestions Thanks ahead for your aid. What program thinking of using to amalgamated the website With Dreamweaver or Frontpage you can center tables with the alignment property. As for font, what font thinking of trying to use Should the computer viewing your website does not develop the font on file since your using, then it will manifest the default font which might be Times New Roman. Are tables obsolete for page design? (Replaced by span and div?) Your opinion please.
Hello there, just call my home Rip Van Winkle. Concerning not paid a lot attention to world wide web coding for over the year, and currently I find assertions in forums that " tables are generally obsolete. " They say it truly is all done these days with " span" along with " div" implementing CSS. This concerns: JUST ONE. I don’t know how " span" along with " div" work. Should I discover this And why TWO. I like the way that I can make tables adjust in order to any size screen along with the user can adapt the font sizes instantly with all the view–> text dimensions in his visitor, the way which i am used that will coding it. I will be leery of " most critical positioning" and " mapping. " I do not really see how this really is sure to adjust to different types and size connected with browser and display screen. And I uncover many websites (including this one) never adjust well to by myself " average size" 15" monitor. 3. Does anybody however prefer " tables" though they know CSS extensively Your opinions, remember to. Thank you. –Krystof. Divs may be … Continue reading

Is there any free on the web tutorials that make clear style sheets, especially positioning in css, within plain english w3c can be completey useless. Wow what a harsh statement! I believe W3C’s tutorials tend to be great… try such (other than W3C regarding course) POST figured it away myself. Thanks, even though. the biggest problums i have with the courses at w3 schools is always that they go to slow as well as to fast. Other tutorials grant you check points which you go through however w3 schools does this it is only the blog titles. W3 schools is ok if you need to brush up and also are ok which has a technology and are sharpening further the skills which you will want in it. The best eay ihave found though to learn about a new technology is usually to look in a book as they usually have a lot more detailed information. (sorry about posting in the dead topic ).
