Newbie help with frames in MX!

Heya Everyone! I’m a bit new to site design but possess taken the tumble and bought Macromedia Facilities MX and Adobe Illustrator CS… To break me on the design works i’ve downloaded an internet template from zymic. com and loaded it in Dreamweaver MX. On the other hand, it has a regular navigational menu for the left and the main content page i always presume is a frame at the heart, and was wondering how you just change the content inside frame when clicking on the nav. buttons without reloading the complete page. To paraphrase i only prefer to treat the middle frame as every single new page. Sorry if this kind of sounds amatuerish but i’m an actual newbie With thanks Guys! Table help

Hello, I posted before but no person answered, so I’ll try to become a little more clear. Basically, I use a table and you can find two columns. I made this left column 100px wide along with the right column 600px huge. On the best row, I made that to be 100px wide. While in the top left cell there’s a logo design, on the best right, the big rectangle, is the banner. In the cells about the left, below your logo I created a menu (pics inside each cell). About the bottom right solar cells, I merged all together to help make one big mobile below the banner ad. Here is the problem: I need kid type normally as well as put graphics in such a big cell. Then again, when I check out type, it does not wrap, it merely keeps expanding your width longer as well as longer, making your whole table wider. Citimax VS Dreamweaver

Let me be designing a site for my work do list in addition to sell used motor vehicle parts from. I have only started learning upon Dreamweaver MX (I chose this program simply cause WE already had some sort of copy) and am just looking to get a feel for basic design. Anyhoo my leader doesnt know anything greater than me but is making plans for using Citimax to create the site. I just got Dreamweaver!

My own mom brought me dreamweaver being an early birthday present she laughed and said today and MY SPOUSE AND I took one take a look at this thing in addition to my jaw fell! Its so not the same as Frontpage! A massive amount more um…. difficult to use than FP! trouble with i-frame looking for alternatives

Can’t view Dreamweaver help files

Ideally, this is the right place to submit this thread… horribly new and undecided. Up until yesterday I can view my aid files and faq in Dreamweaver MX 2003 however is not today. I obtain a " there was a dilemma starting help" information box everytime WE try. For a few reason I aren’t able to view the *. chm data anymore. I can watch the files by way of Acrobat but My organization is wondering if anybody knows how I will fix things so I could use help with Dreamweaver. Thanks! Dreamweaver and Images

Concerning been setting up a simple straight html webpage for any colleague to modify and update himself using Dreamweaver. MY PARTNER AND I normally write value using BBEdit, nevertheless she needs any WYSIWYG and provides Dreamweaver MX in her PC. Concerning Dreamweaver 8 upon my PC. I’ve added pictures and graphics to the page and perhaps they are all placed over a host server using the code linking to a total URL for each. She can perspective the page around her browser without having problems, but when she opens the archive in Dreamweaver MX every one of the images are shattered. Next time i open it around Dreamweaver 8 Relating to no problems. All images show up just fine. Is there a worry with MX of which ignores full URLs Do they might need relative links The key reason why can’t she notice the images which are up online. Confused!

Hey guys, I have been looking throughout the site for a little bit now and I realise that the majority of members here are experienced in internet design/ development. I will be not, I am in the beginning stages, I have one problem how to start, I am fortunate enough to get programs such since, Dreamweaver mx, Pen mx, photoshop cs and a number of others, it is merely using them that’s the problem, and chosing what one to use, I have heard that one could create a web page using purely photoshop, but I do not understand how that very works, I happen to be told be many people to use dreamweaver, although not to by other folks because it apparently may be a different html code if you ever wern’t codeing it from scratch. My goal is within several months down the line I want to own created a webpage myself codeing this from scratch. ASP design app that will work with GoDaddy

Hi all, I have an account using GoDaddy and WHEN I develop my ASP webpages in DreamWeaver MX 2005. On my nearby Host the internet pages work fine nonetheless uploading them to GoDaddy they usually plain blank won’t work, this is a result of the way GoDaddy connects towards the Access DB I have on their web site. I have tried using this past week to get a way all around this either by means of code or placing files in different folders but almost all in vain.
