Best dynamic menu system?

What on earth do you recommend for producing DHTML drop down menus for a web site We have a site we want to placed menus on along the top. It has to work across browsers (Opera, Netscape etc), often be free (or quite cheap), be easy to incorporate and update list items, and be fabulous! MY PARTNER AND I use Dreamweaver, thus if it integrates with that then that’s ok, nevertheless it doesn’t ought to directly. Thanks, Stephen I’m sure www. opencube. com offer fully customizable DHTML menus, but I am unsure about how much many people cost. I think that they cannot work in Mozilla, plainly remember correctly. For anyone who is a developer and are prepared to pass along into your market to your client, take a consider Menu Magic ONE PARTICULAR and Menu Secret 2 DW extensions coming from www. projectseven. com Concerning MM2 and in a project it has covered itself. modify: oh yeah, both products generate CSS/JS based menues which can be compatible with 4. x, 5. times, and 6. times browsers, icluding NN 8, Moz 1. times, and Moz. ZYNGA.

Concerning a form that has a dynamic list/menu item that gets the (" id" while value, and " name" as label) and it’s working like no bodies business!. And a textarea (for " content" field) which will contents are displayed dynamically using " Multi-Field Drop-down" server behaviour with the DeveloperToolbox > Mode Control. This means everything is working well, choose the " name" with the list/menu and it is corresponding " content" is displayed inside the textarea. Screenshots to help you understand better: Look at attachment 4131 Look at attachment 4132 The matter is when I place the tinymce script and also the text area will be successfully rigged way up with that good editor, it will not likely display " content" next time i choose a " name", it is going to only display that " content" with the first " name" available if your page loads, all over again, choosing a " name" … Continue reading

Novice Question: How to create page with dynamic elements, ie: menu’s & pagelets..

Heya guys, I just now found your forum and I do think it’s great! I’ve learned a whole lot already. I have recently been a webmaster for numerous years, very novice although – and will have been using just HTML plus much more recently CSS. I’ve had some encounter with frames/iframes, tables all that will stuff and am prepared to learn more… I maintain one or two websites currently (all amateurish) and I have been asked to create another one… with this new one I’d like to take an alternative approach. One of the pet peeves with each one of my current websites is when we have a menu change or perhaps something similar (ie: add a different image to the header, new link inside footer, navigation pub, etc… ) I must manually update each and every page… Most websites I see now take over dynamic elements (I think these are similar to pagelets) – (for example, http: //news. bbc. corp. uk/) I’m sure they don’t specify their links in every page and also the little box that says most in-demand stories…, but somehow call up these links on the page.. this is what I would like to learn how … Continue reading
