image positioning/wrapping problem (prob easy but ive stared way too long at it..)
Hi all, I am aquiring a little problem considering the placement of images with this site. This isn’t really my code, although I added this images in. If you look at: Sanya China and taiwan Travel China Vacations – China Trip Hotels – Sifang Guesthouse Hotel And also click the Itinerary hook, and see under heading Rooms you’ll ensure the images " spend time of" the grey boxes that are made to hold them. the grey background can be a style rule for that < p> tags (the text about the images) The border along at the top of every single content block being the superior of each < h4> label. I have tried adding a < div> all over each block associated with content in firebug, with a grey background, for you to enclose the impression, however this doesn’t apparently work. The images in addition become misaligned when they are too close to one another: Tailor Made Holidays to China and the Far East (under itineraries tab) A url to what it’s supposed to look like is usually here: Tailor Made Vacations to China and the Far East (this is merely fluke; because on the fact theres plenty of … Continue reading
Image ruins text formatting in other table cells
Hi, I have small web style and design problem that’s been bugging me for an unnecessarily while. On this subject page of your company website (http: //www. icc-usa. com/ddr3-population. asp), the second table features three images from the third column. You’ll notice which the text in the first and second columns is not really at the very top from the table cell, but is pushed down for reasons uknown. The reason being of those photos, but I don’t learn how to fix the copy. In the very first table, which lacks pictures, the text platforms in its right place. Does everyone have any ideas Thanks beforehand, Alex L. try this with your HTML in the cells you would like to align the text towards top < td valign=" top" > hence, like this: Code: DDR3 Ram Population Performance < /caption> < thead> < tr> < th scope=" col" > Usage< /th> < th scope=" col" > Population< /th> < th scope=" col" > Performance< /th> < /tr> < /thead> < tfoot> < /tfoot> < tbody> < tr> < th scope=" row" > Greatest Bandwidth < /th> < tdCOLOR=Red valign=" top" /COLOR> < ul> < li> DDR3 1333 across 3 channels< … Continue reading

Beginner Needs Help
I’m currently building a website with a wysiwyg software package. My problem is once i view my site online, my webpage is sitting during the screen with tons of blank space on each side. It is not filling the overall screen. Is there coding I could use to right this Thanks a great deal! First down, the difference you’re seeing isn’t just you — which is the criticism involving wysiwyg. A site usually looks good wysiwyged alone computer and then you certainly upload and observe what others observe and wonder just what happened. Nothing at all happened. The program forgotten standardized markup and that means you could design aesthetically. But that indicates nonstandard markup obtains widely varied outcomes as different browsers endeavor to interpret it. Mac people might not see what DESKTOP people do, and different yet to get a FireFox equipped Linux end user. You may be seeing just one problem of numerous that others could have. Following, post your computer code or a connect to the page, where people can look at source. Or post simply just those parts you have reason to consider are (or could be) at fault. HTML and CSS. Then you will know. It … Continue reading

Image loads in Firefox but not IE
I have some basic html document: HTML: < img src=" img/logo. png" /> The image underlines in Firefox, although in IE 8-10 it just has the empty package. It doesn’t have anything related to IE settings, as each alternate image loads to the same site. Yes the image is within the right service. I have tried jpg, gif, and also png. Edited throughout Firefox CS5 in addition to Photoshop CS5. I’m wondering if it’s something related to the way the modern CS5 is protecting the images. Just about any ideas Is it possible to show us an evaluation page where this matter occurs. Give us a real link to any page… so we could see it by using IE8, IE6, and so on. I sort of have the experiencing it’s something different.

Getting back into it and need help
Hello everyone, I used to design a lot back years ago and mostly fretting hand coded but I used a few of the early versions with stuff like coffee cup and dreamweaver and perhaps splash, if it is possible to believe that, but it’s been several years and I’m working on a site and thus much is beyond me ever since I didn’t stay into maintaining. I’m working with a very simple web page, and my first and problem is that I’m just not grasping tips on how to use html and css etc. to produce my pages work in most resolutions. I imply, I know how you can hand code typically, but I get real weak with design sheets. I’ve acquired it where them looks ok, however is not right across websites and resolutions. I can make small adjustments then it will work in firefox however it changes one thing in ie making sure that in a specific resolution it’s fe’d upwards. I’m sure it can not be that hard and if anybody could spend a bit time to guide me out I would really, really always be gratefull. I’m attempting to finally get the little karaoke company pursuing … Continue reading

Does ‘& # 1 6 0’ work in a table?
Hi, I have some line of text within a table cell which in turn makes the cell two rows higher. I want to indent the underside row but ‘& # 1 SOME 0’ doesn’t apparently do anything. Do I can use some other solution Making the cell longer just isn’t an option. Gives thanks! Add this into the < td> label. Adjust as needed. Code: style=" padding-left: 40px; " The problem you’re visiting run into is that in some cases, the long distinct text will help make your cell 3, 4, 5 rows high based on how someone resizes their text inside a browser such seeing that Firefox. So if it can be two lines began seeing you’re looking at it, at some point it is going to be even large. fair point that. as for that coding suggestion, can there be anything that will probably indent only the underside line of text rather than the top 1 or both of these No, because there’s no real way to ascertain the bottom distinct text when it’s resized. okay, thanks anyway you could place the the important point in a licence plate of it’s own but that may look equally bad. … Continue reading

I do certainly not know why there’s a gap between your flower and word in Firefox but is not IE. I have leaped my code from the validator with absolutely nothing errors. Please assist. Dwelling Page I know that is the basic error Thanks before time OHH FYI I want it to mimic it does if you view it in IE. Did you try reducing the very best: 366px to 345px maybe As well as, what a clutter of code! You should certainly clean that ” up “! Harmonic’s onto something with the " mess with code" comment. I understand this is your current first try, nonetheless it looks like somebody or something (i. e. a program) assisted you. Your big issue is the fact that you’re trying for being pixel-perfect with points and use utter positioning where it does not work or suit. The absolute placement is what’s putting together off your full layout, not simply the flower. Fundamentally, you should start out this page above from scratch, code a bit without the location, see it … Continue reading
