ads – local vs adwords vs linkshare

site draws on the local waters sports dem. community blog and industry news is also the attraction. trying to work through ad space. my current product has me advertising feature rich listing slots for related industries including a free printable coupon page. not sure what a full blooming price would be for the people slots and weather condition or not this would be better then just simply placing some yahoo and google ads. i know traffic is usually a factor. i have researched the sites we would be competing using, not what we would call competition and a number of them have thousands with users. i feel flyers and word of mouth would bare sizeable traffic. exact phone numbers, no idea. earliest large scale interpersonal site.
