File upload?

Well here’s the challenge. I have this kind of photoshop class as well as i do do the job in school, however send it to help myself via Yousendit. com after which download it home, and do the same forward and backward. The problem is that yousendit. com only continues your files for about a week. So, since i have my own website i got wondering how i can have my very own file upload. To ensure that i can only upload it to my website, and i will manage my own files, whereever my business is. Howdy everyone, I’m new to web page design so this question might seem silly, but I need a little bit of help here. Just what content management system, a simple definition I recognize that WordPress, Joomla for example. are considered so , because, let’s take WP as one example, it is easy for that author of as well as to make changes and add entries, etc. So here’s my concern: what if you design a web site in dreamweaver for any client, who let’s say wishes to occassionally have the ability to add ‘news’ bits onto the house page along together with an image or maybe two I think one solution is to use WP and also to give the web-site a non-blog feel/design. Simple software for optimizing graphics?

Greetings all – Now i’m a newbie the following. I’ve recently ingested over webmaster duties for a non-profit group plus the website has Many photos. I have to shrink the files hence the site won’t take as long to load. I have access to Fireworks and own used this program before to optimize graphics but is there another (free! ) program that i could download to use for this Fireworks seems like such overkill to the simple work that will I’m doing. Thanks to your help! Should you already have FW then why search for something else Especially when you can batch change (optimize, among other tasks) a number of photos and export all of them at once! Might appear to be a no-brainer. To answer your question I do believe Picasa is free and can do simple tasks. But why!!! Only because Now i am working off my laptop today and I hate to possess to load that big computer software on my notebook if I style haha! Preload images or use a status bar to indicate page load progress?

Howdy, I’m redesigning my own site for a change and still have decided to use Simple Controls Gallery for the image viewing (it’s some sort of photography website). Nonetheless, it’s taking around 10 seconds for any gallery to initialise. We have 52 images up to now, all " saved for web" through Photoshop to minimize size. I think preloading the images would be counter productive as which is what the JS gallery script does on. Is there a way of integrating some sort of status bar and also countdown clock if anyone else is to see while the gallery initialises And here is the link: http: //www. 17minutes. company. uk/ Many thanks, Lol Are you sure it’s your images causing the condition and not the gallery If it’s the images, preload them independently without the gallery and display them over a page. No strange effects or anything at all… just the FIFTY TWO images on 1 page. This noises excessive, but you’re wanting to determine whether it’s the images or the gallery that is the problem. PHP vs. CMS

POST can’t decide which to focus my time on up coming. Which has already been more valuable to you, knowing PHP or knowing steps to make CMS templates I understand a little PHP (enough to to forms or perhaps edit WP web themes, etc. ) but I need to find out CakePHP to carry out frameworks.. But I also need to find out Joomla (and Drupal down the road.. ). It looks like both will take some rolling up in the sleeves, so I’d like some input spend money on what takes precedence. Any starting information or points in the right direction would be appreciated too. CMS (content supervision system)… most popular strategy to create a CMS is by using PHP and MySQL, but a CMS may very well be done with Perl, ASP, in addition to any server-side system scripting. So the image can certainly seen through it though the text is understandable!
