Site Navigation

I believe this question fits best in this forum. I’m in the deal of redesigning this site and I’m stumped with the navigation. I would like it in the form of hierarchy with pieces and sub portions. This can be kind of how I want the idea: Code: +——————————————————————–+ WEBSITE NAME +——————————————————————–+ Section color=redSECTION/color Section Portion +——————————————————————–+ Home -> Section -> Sub Area +—————+ +————————————————-+ Sub Sec Section Content material +—————+ color=redSUB SEC/color Several content here +—————+ +————————————————-+ SubSub Securities and exchange commission’s +—————+ +————————————————-+ Website Section Content +—————+ Website Some content the following +—————+ +————————————————-+ Sub Sec +—————+ Sub Sec +—————+ +—————+ Still left content Some content material here +—————+ Top level sections will forever appear at the superior of the page in the primary navigation bar. Any non leading level section will present a parent portion. A section will present 0 or far more main content things. Whether a section has 0 content material items, the content items in the parent section will be dispalyed. A section can offer other sub portions. A section can offer links which is going to be displayed on the left. A section can offer 0 or far more left content things. The … Continue reading

This may be a stupid Q for others – but……….

Do you would like them to url to specific pages, or just do this also thing as the particular browser buttons Since Relating to the discount offer within the first page — I made any Categories page http: //www. inmobiz. com/categories. html when people terrain on that page they may be bound to click on among the titles on of which page- and after that I fear they will be lost unless they might use the previous/next button So I guess the solution to your question is – I want them and keep track on where people are actually from the time frame they opens upward a category If that is definitely too complicated — I’d be happy for just a simple solution which only does exactly like every browser backside button. newchance … so you’re planning to the worst case scenario where they have no navigation Which just doesn’t help make sense. Yes, it depends, in that you could have buttons that will trigger the web browser’s back as well as forward actions on the click, but it can be just useless IMHO. At this point, if you’re saying that from a sub-cat, and also a sub-sub-cat, you need … Continue reading

Review Website

Howdy, I’m currently focusing on a web undertaking, and I ought to admit I need a certain amount of help. I am designing, without starting too much fine detail, a user-submitted assessments website. I has certain categories inside header with move down menu map-reading showing sub-categories and so on. Can anyone point me in the best direction for designing this We’ve tried WordPress as well as e107, all without the luck. I need users and therefore submit the critiques and rate the merchandise I list. I want each subcategory to acquire its own top ranked list. This is an example of hierarchy: DWELLING CATEGORY 1 CLASSIFICATION 2 CATEGORY THREE OR MORE SUBCAT1(# connected with items) SUBCAT2 (#) SUBCAT3 (#) —-> subcat —–> subcat ——> subcat Only need to further explain, let us know. Many thanks Wordpress sounds ideal for this, whats the condition your having about it I aren’t able to, for one issue, get the plugin I have to generate ‘Top Ranked’ lists per category. Very much alike inestimonials. com except I don’t know wgatvthry used for site if nearly anything.

how to create a heirarchy for website of over 200 pages

Hi there, First of all, I am BRAND NEW to website making ( and through 50 yrs old! ) I want to build a site about the USA capital places… i want to part ways them by locations… new england states, mountain states, southern states, and the actual midwestern states… i’m using NetObjects Fusion software… do i make a home page and also 4 child pages for any regions and then stop working each region having another page for each city with thanks Anyone else notice this guy’s username and imagine the WWE Undertaker, or is the fact just me In any case, I don’t learn about NetObjects Fusion software package, but the way I would do it personally is probably not too newcomer-friendly. What I might do is to create a database when using the following tables. Regions States You never really need some sort of table for locations since you’re just listing one for every state, although you may. Then work with a server-side language including ASP. net, ASP, or PHP to produce and display your pages. By the process, you answer your own hierarchy question indirectly (or to put it more precisely, your database does) also , … Continue reading
