Windows XP SP2 makes it hard for web designers

Features anyone downloaded SP2 for Windows XP I did and I don’t like it! I have Thumb on my web page and it won’t allow me to dispay it unless I select " Let Blocked Content" with the Information Bar. I merely downloaded it currently but I’m not happy with the results. This pages look aweful! There’s nothing being displayed the right way. Besides Flash WHEN I downloaded a script from DynamicDrive that does not display correctly plus my popup home windows don’t work. Any person else having promlems together with Service Pack 3 for XP I’ve had SP2 for almost thirty days and haven’t have any problems in any respect. you can set it so that it always shows that style of stuff. I’m sure I’ll go mess up, oh I am talking about ‘test’ it in someone elses PC before I click with installing it on my very own… thanks for the particular heads up though. AFAIK there have been no changes for you to IE in SP2 other than the popup blocker. This causes difficulties with popups (duh), but that is it. The reason does everyone declare use Arial, Verdana or Tahoma It can not be for cross-compatability motives…. As far since im aware i have only seen Sans-Serif in addition to Courier on any non-windows OS. I would prefer to use Trebuchet MICROSOFT. Help needed on image gallery…

Hi there all, I’ve been asked to make a webpage that will display jpeg images from a certain way. Say some image size, some pics across, five pics down, that method of gallery. Help!!!! MAC is ruining my life!!!

All right, seriously, I hear MAC is best for Web Style and design, but every program I familiar with use on my PC is only for windows… I just now got a apple computer, and I have no idea what programs I am suposted to utilize. Does anyone other than them have MAC that will tell me things to get I helpful to use Notepad in addition to Crimson Editor, and neither FTP Pro or 3D-FTP will continue to work on this technique either. I am gonna have to know Dreamweaver eventually, but I prefer to never use it right this moment, only one major change during a period is all I’ll handle…. I am guessing there have to be some basic courses on here that will do just as well, but I was so un-MAC savvy i always don’t even know where to check…. Hello guys, You might’ve seen several of my posts here and there, but I was getting ino freelance web design, and everything ended up being going ok, had a cuople clients a long way, but nothing I could truthfully really make a living off of. So I took a significant part time web-designer occupation in my place (20hrs/wk) and apart form utilizing the 3 and also so clients i’ve complied far, this might be my first actual JOB like a web designer. I was just wondering exactly what advice you guys have with luck. MY first day time was today, along with the bossman had me complete a small graphic ad for a site, create the latest page on an existing clients site, and result in a couple contact forms for some other client. Help please! Menu Display Problem

Hi Recently i designed a website and We are having some trouble that has a menu, which in Firefox platforms correctly but inside Explorer the pictures are shifted to somewhat of a side making it look worng. Any help might be appreciated. The web site is: http: //www. pbcdemocraticparty. org, along with the menu is about the right column on the bottom, below your yellow box. Hmm, My organization is not sure what exactly is causing your challenge, but I did notice how the layout looks messed up on my computer – firefox on the mac. The suitable menu gets pressed under the articles.
