FAVICONs help…!

FAVICONs… argh Can a student conquered this issue please help my family I cannot figure out how to get a Favicon to operate. POST created a 16×16 pic.. made it an icon. It shows up as an tattoo, I placed it under my public_html folder about my host. But no favicon shows up! I cant find any real good help via the internet searches on where to place it… sorry to bother my local freinds here about this, but if you understand can you simply just help me available ALSO I read more favicon. com you’ll want to make TWO files 16×16 and a 32×32 BUT HOW ON EARTH CAN I GENERATE TWO ICONS AS WELL AS NAME THEM EXACTLY THE SAME THINGS Wouldn’t which just overwrite one another Aid!!! help with template???

alright here my situation and with regards to somebody could aid me. i use digg for my webhosting in addition to i use pagebuilder to build my site. i bought a template coming from another site plus it was a zip record, i got winzip and unzipped it. currently theres three files, 2 are banners along with the other is the main one i need wich may be the index. so i attempted to upload it and when i went to apply it i couldnt get it, so i left for my sitre manager and so they have backgrounds, pics as well as other, it was under other, and i cant learn how to do this. a number of people have told me personally that pagebuilder seriously isn’t a good web page builder, the reason i chose ?t had been it was the initial one that i used also it was fairly effortless. please if everyone could help me personally ide be highly greatfull thanks can easily anybody help us Pagebuilder Is usually a terrible app. but that’s by the by. Only seeing code!

Hi guys that is probably really simple thing determine but i only don’t knw what exactly i’m doing inappropriate. Not long ago i signed up to some webhost and created a practice website. i uploaded the actual practice site in to my public/html folder because index. html. now while i visit my website all i see may be the html/css code. the url is usually link removed in the event someone could take a look and see where by i’m going wrong that is going to be great. thanks ahead of time. Post your current " index. html" file here and why don’t we see it, as an alternative to a link… because the HTML doesn’t display. Hey I understood what the dilemma is… Might appear to be when I are uploading my webpages there’re somehow being changed… While i go to see the uploaded file responsible panel it looks practically nothing like the original I typed away. My temporary method for this is to set-up my files inside the file manager in charge panel and replicate and paste this code from my personal webdesign software… kinda annoying but I need ideas of of any other solution right now. Hola fellow website designers I’m admittedly somewhat fresh to site design and get uploaded the list. html file to be able to my host device. It sounds like you’ve got it uploaded accurately, but it’s a server configuration concern. Attempt renaming index. html to index. htm (no L). and examine if that works. You can also try default. html and default. htm, despite the fact that those are longshots. In that case, index. html isn’t considered a default page for ones website. If not necessarily, you’ll have to contact your site’s host and inform them the issue. Forum feed help please

Greetings Guys, We’d really appreciate several help. My website features a forum feed to the home page which should update with the latest posts from that forum, but it has not updated with months. The positioning was created with luck by someone who is no longer all over, and so I have been trying to master the basics over recent years months, but this kind of has me trapped. There’s a file in my public. html folder which pertains to it called cachedposts. html code, which contains the particular rss code. FTP site problems

Hi guys Been on christmas now for Month a quite bored stiff. Thought he would make a site on Dreamweaver CS3. Uploaded site to FTP server for assessment, and all ought to work, well it doesnt. WHEN I uploaded the information to public_html folder. But after i type domain identify www. example. com this only brings upward the index together with all folders. After i type in world wide web. example. com/index. html your website opens correctly. Managed I miss/delete something, what am I missing. Spent the entire morning googling the prob but without luck. Website design and what not necessarily is totaly new if you ask me. You need to help Gives thanks in advance Pof That’s a server setting that appears to be set incorrectly. Test changing the index chart. html to directory. htm, see in case it works. If it’s a windows server, switch it to default. htm Or default. html When you have access to your hosting provider control panel, there is often a setting where you may add index. html because you default document.
