A question of compensation
So to start I’ve never got any real opportunity at the real web style and design job. I’ve been asking anyone which i sense is interested in getting a website built if they want one, and I found someone that is certainly interested in work. I have had no real web pages done for some others, just a a few blogs I generated for myself. So anywas I had lunch using my first buyer. We went about some basics regarding what they want out of their site, and what I can improve upon. They seemed real impressed with all the direction I’m opting for here, although for at the moment I told them that it will be kept simple. I plan on in the beginning stages with an html page / css layout, make a logo and also a banner, and run the others of it as plain html / css. Throughout a few many weeks once I’m comfortable enough using the language, I begin incorporating PHP, and I’m planning to be renting out several of my server space to the next at a reduced rate. Originally Needed to just repeat this as a volunteer job so I at the … Continue reading
New to web design. Basic question.
Hello there, I am just trying to develop a webpage depending on a book given in my experience by my sister for a Chrristmas gift after some duration ago. The trouble I will be having is how you can include pictures. Next time i load it into the browser, I simply get small rectanbgles along with X’s in them. I tried dimension them, but this didn’t help. I’m pretty sure I gave it the best path. Any suggestions George Basically, your paths are certainly not correct, they consult files on your disk drive, not on the particular server. Ones code: < IMG SRC=" D: \Documents and Settings\George OBrien\Desktop\tone injector\" PICT0020. jpg" > proper code: < img src=" PICT0020. jpg" > (if the image is the same directory as the page on your server) as well as: < img src=" images/PICT0020. jpg" > (if the image is a directory identified as " Images" around the server. ) I’m going to hazard a estimate and say you are using Dreamweaver for your site – this has become the more common faults that occurs by using DW – I wish Thought about the time to help post a clearer explanation of your – … Continue reading

Easiest way to create an html site?
I’m serious about creating an html page site and putting google ads about it and attempting to generate some targeted traffic. I want that layed out similar to a blog website, nothing fancy by using flash or whatever. I know an acceptable amount of html and still have really good computers skills on the whole. I’m not a decent designer though along with I’m wondering what’s the best way to accomplish what I" m trying to perform I want to be able to constantly had websites to it rather easy. Do You want a special kind of software, or is there an online site that allows someone purchase a template and also edit and upload Or regarded as a get software like frontpage and then try to find a template associated with some type online to achieve this I’m about to use my own domain name and hosting firm so all guidelines must give me the opportunity to move this site to my very own domain and internet hosting company. Get an publisher like Notepad++ and away you. You’ll find templates online, but many of them suck either through the standpoint of modification or code. They’re built for one specific … Continue reading

AVI files in FireFox and Google Chrome
Hello there everyone, maybe you all may help me out. I’m doing a tutorial for some sort of class assignment and I’d prefer to include video clip embedded on a good HTML page. Not so difficult, I know. However I’m having resistance next time i want to see this HTML page using the video using both mentioned browsers. AVI files play okay in IE9, although not with the most recent versions of Firefox plus Chrome. The AVI file in question has been appropriately embedded in Dreamweaver. If anyone can perform an answer, I’d appreciate it. Or is there a better way I can make use of any of Adobe’s video editors (besides Press Encoder) to replace from one format to another Many thanks everyone. Youtube. The reason you are having an issues may be the avi format is stuck just using windows media player which can be by default stuck just using IE. You could potentially probably define glass windows media player to experiment with avi files in those browsers, but then only somebody that has set it up properly should be able to view them. It becomes better if anyone converted to swf videos so providing your flash player … Continue reading

convert docx to html
i can convert docx files having images, clip arts to be able to HTML without changing look. While, Word itself may this but just isn’t very neat in this.. Can you suggest an instrument for this http: //word2cleanhtml. com/ Give that a whirl. But really, you should just write some HTML PAGE, it’s easy! but that isn’t going to allow pasting clip martial arts styles / images Very well, Word embeds the images, HTML demands linking to outside files. I’d suggest building your individual HTML, or downloading Dreamweaver or like that. You’ll get yourself a better site as compared with Word could actually generate anyway, that may be just not exactly what it’s for. You can actually run a PDF I guess, most web browsers can actually place them so that’s a simple but flawed solution. According to the version. Both 2003 along with 2007 have plugins that has to be installed to " distribute to HTML", however from seeing the best way they work, 2003 is hit as well as mIss. If you utilize tables to support the content in that 2003 word doc. It does ok, but no dining tables and you’re virtually rolling the dice. 2007 is … Continue reading
App Development Resources
Howdy fellow WDF-ers, Presumably some of you in existence will have branched into app development and I became wondering should you have any invaluable resources for a beginner I’m most probably going to invest in Stark’s ‘Building iphone Apps With HTML PAGE, CSS and JavaScript’ because it appears to be a fairly radical resource for the introduction of iPhone and Android apps without having to learn additional languages like Objective-C or Cacao. That being said I’m a firm believer of using an array of resources so I’m offered to anything anyone different can recommend, or any experiences anyone may have with the resource above.
Full Sail Web design and development degree? Worth it?
Earliest price: 50k! =-O: thumbsdown: Their education features Flash design and Action Script legitimate for about half a year. Another eight months of general education. I’m impressed make cover areas that will community colleges will not come close far too, like: mobile unit application development, World wide web standards, intellectual property or home and law, prosperous media optimization, a few months of graphics design,… it seems also perfect. Am I missing something here Every class is a couple of weeks (4 weeks). How to learn that rapid The 50k, I guess, includes a Macbook Pro set with software (like CS4), however still, 50k, can happen now. For 50k With regards to to learn Dark red on Rails – especially because the computer they include things like has Rails preinstalled.: ermm: Now i am very skeptical. Anyone please fill me personally in. My local community college is decades behind in Website development and development. These people still teach 2002 HTML PAGE. No classes within Flash, mobile unit development, or even layout in CSS, or even Rails. Oh, I plan to freelance, exclusively. A flaw about my past record (felony) makes it impossible to obtain past hiring sections. While I’m not the … Continue reading
